Helping Tornado Victims

Site Update

We were asked by Senpai and Morris (#16) to do a donation drive for victims of the tornadoes that hit the southern US. Springdragon (#650) made us these three lovely designs to give to anyone who donates funds to a reputable charity, like the Salvation Army or Red Cross.

Donate $5.00 or more and get the Sors.
Donate $10.00 or more and get the Chiro and the Sors.
Donate $20.00 or more and get the Nexus, Chiro, and Sors.

Donate directly to an appropriate charity of your choice, then forward the receipt to [email protected]. Include your user ID so the pet(s) can be sent to you as a custom. We have decided to make donation pets as "customs" instead of "site pets" so that they can be exclusive to donators.

I will update this news post with the total amount donated by Aywas users at the end of the week so you can get an idea of how much we've helped. :)

I donated to the Humane Society. My mother lives in Birmingham and works with the Red Cross; the people are definitely having problems, but they're being taken care of. On the other hand, the Humane Society is having to ship animals to Texas because there just isn't enough space for all the animals found wandering in the wreckage.

Besides, it seemed fitting to help pets with a pet site. ^^

A little slow (and I don't know if anyone will see this) but I managed to donate some money to the Red Cross the other day, and I emailed a screenshot of it to you guys. But yeah, I agree with everyone else. It's a good idea, thanks!
