Helping Tornado Victims

Site Update

We were asked by Senpai and Morris (#16) to do a donation drive for victims of the tornadoes that hit the southern US. Springdragon (#650) made us these three lovely designs to give to anyone who donates funds to a reputable charity, like the Salvation Army or Red Cross.

Donate $5.00 or more and get the Sors.
Donate $10.00 or more and get the Chiro and the Sors.
Donate $20.00 or more and get the Nexus, Chiro, and Sors.

Donate directly to an appropriate charity of your choice, then forward the receipt to [email protected]. Include your user ID so the pet(s) can be sent to you as a custom. We have decided to make donation pets as "customs" instead of "site pets" so that they can be exclusive to donators.

I will update this news post with the total amount donated by Aywas users at the end of the week so you can get an idea of how much we've helped. :)

Sweet. I've wanted to donate for relief funds before but I could never find a place that takes paypal, but I managed to find one this time so $20 has been sent to the american red cross. I think it is great you are raising awareness by giving us a chance to get these beautiful pets, while doing a good deed.

Beautiful pets. Brilliant idea, and I really wish I had a PayPal account to assist in the donation drive. I live down south, practically dancing along the very edge of the storms, but I really wish to help those nearby.

My history of donations are killing my bank account. So unfortunately this time, I won't be able to donate. 3: But I do hope there are many people who will, as I know there are people around me who unfortunately got hit. :(

I love the fact that you guys are encouraging people to help with relief efforts - one of hte tornadoes went right through my best friend's back yard, I was down there the other day helping with clean up. ThougH i really am not a fan of the sors - I don't like the little objects getting blown around by the tornado, I do love the other two pets and I wish I could donate. but alas I'm broke. :/ all I can do is go helpw ith clean up and such.

I think it's really super awesome that you're donating to the tornado relief. A lot of them hit very close to me, and I know the community here in SWVA will be really appreciative.

I wish I had paypal, or a job. It's great you're doing this, I have friends in the south, they're alright, but it's a very sad and scary thing.

Seriously, this is so kind of you guys-- being from one of the states affected by the storms, it's really nice to see people step up and help out. Those tornadoes were brutal!

Thank you so much for this. Two people died in my county, and it's really hit the area hard.
