You'll be using them to buy special finned pets in the Seasonal Shop. I'd suggest seeking them in the West River and the East River in the usual fashions... just makes sense, ya know?

Does R10 mean they're going to have be gotten from Legendary Rare Monsters? Or am I just severely unlucky and have been exploring since you posted this news post with no Sand Dollar to show for it?

clicks between merchants- 20, 28, 7, 24, 12, 20, 1, 12, 36, 5, 38, 76, 1, 6, 32. Sand dollars gotten - 0. :( Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid merchants. We need an item "trick dollar", it's a dollar on a string, like that prank where you drop a dollar, then yank it with the string, and it should increase the rate of merchants.

So far the only Sand Dollar I've gotten has been from a Merchant. Normally R10 items can drop from R10 monsters, but it's entirely likely that the dollars ONLY come from merchants. I haven't had one drop from an R10 monster at any rate.

The R 10 monsters for me are mostly dropping BP, but I do get an occasional item drop. So far they've only dropped leaves & a couple of food items. But they are dropping items far less than usual. I have seen 1 sand dollar from a merchant, but I wasn't going to pay almost 2k (with discount card) when I could end up with a junk item just as easily as a sand dollar.

Pet rarities for the hunting licences are glitchy, so item rarities in explore probably are too? Can the sand dollars rarity be changed please? out of the last 30 or so merchants, I only got one sand dollar, but around 5 r20s, lots of r40 and 50s, and 4 r70s
