Amity (#3340) decided to submit a breeding to the Ugliest Hybrid Breeding Ever Contest that made me wince and nod with agreement.
♥
Green and pink and yellow and blue? how could this end well. You agree with me, right?

Looks like our hybrid artists are capable of making something nice out of an abomination. o__o
Speaking of breedings, be prepared for the release of Breeding Coins on July 1 - July 7. As always, they will be 75 GP.

@Kazna & Akikiu (#233): No... no there won't. Complaining is inherent to the nature of contests. xD

There are definitely always going to be complaining entities in contests - particularly when they felt that they had a legitimate bid to win. I agree to a certain extent that the chosen couple could in no way produce an ugly offspring without a lazy artist. However, this is Slash's contest and he can decide the outcome in whatever manner he feels best met his criteria. I am certain that Slash has learned for the next time to spell out exactly what needs to be said.
I have to give Slash props - by now he must know that all contests are going to incite irritation and rage, and yet Slash still hosts them.

I do wonder how that baby got a pink belly, though. Both the parents had light bellies, that probably should have carried on. The back should have been from pink - brown - green. It seems like the blue / orange accents were mostly left out. Though the Kyre is beautiful, it seems to be missing some of the parent-elements in the process. But then, it's been shown before that artists will often eschew certain pet art in order to deliver something attractive.
