First off, I'd like to apologize that this took so long. The initial software update was completed around noon today, but upon testing the site out we realized there was about three hours of information lost from the database. The backup process started sooner than we plan and the final synchronization did not sync the new information before starting the upgrades. We tried restoring the database from the old disk drive, but that resulted in corrupted information. So instead, we decided to just take the three hours of lost information to the unknown lost information from the corruption. Almost nine hours later, here we are.
The software update was important for Aywas because it not only closed potential vulnerabilities, it will allow us to look to the future of what we can now do for the site with our new software!
We're going to look into what we can do to try and recover the information from that three hour period (10pm - 1am), but in the mean time we decided to just enable the site again in the mean time. You may encounter some errors with the site (many of them being deprecated errors). Just report them to us and I'll work on getting them resolved as soon as I can. In the mean time I am going to try and get the staff together so we can begin discussing where we are going to go from here.

And I just realized I'm missing 6 GP from a trade lot I made last night. Not sure how that's still missing when the GP from the pet purchases was returned (and as stated above, immediately spent again).

Really thankful that my boyfriend and I had done our Faux grabs earlier then 10 pm right now, though did lose my Rose Oakl from my slab that i'd done around midnight, but compared to what others have lost, I consider that far minor.

Pet shop is accessible now! That was quick, thank you ^^ One of the pets previously purchased has reappeared in it, so the sale seems not to have been recorded.
Also, just noticed that all Trash Points I earned before downtime have disappeared.

The quoting and missposting errors are caused by missing posts. Same thing happened when the site crashed for three months. Any thread that had a new post in the stated time span is going to have issues until things are sorted.

It won't let me upload my finished sketch baby, saying "Cannot upload the file `pet_upload` for the following reason(s): Folder to upload file to is not writable.", but now I've used a couple of my bronze pens already... :(

Well, I have a happy mistake that I'm not going to report. So, ssshhhh everyone.....*looks around to see if any Admins are watching* I went to the Glittering Slab between midnight & the update & got a so-so pet....I noticed the original pet that I had taken to the Slab was still untransformed and I did not have the new pet so I just went again and I totally prefer this pet. I'm assuming this boo-boo is okay since I didn't benefit from it.

entering "www.aywas.com" just brings up a blank page. you have to add /news or something similar to it to actually bring up the aywas website
