First off, I'd like to apologize that this took so long. The initial software update was completed around noon today, but upon testing the site out we realized there was about three hours of information lost from the database. The backup process started sooner than we plan and the final synchronization did not sync the new information before starting the upgrades. We tried restoring the database from the old disk drive, but that resulted in corrupted information. So instead, we decided to just take the three hours of lost information to the unknown lost information from the corruption. Almost nine hours later, here we are.
The software update was important for Aywas because it not only closed potential vulnerabilities, it will allow us to look to the future of what we can now do for the site with our new software!
We're going to look into what we can do to try and recover the information from that three hour period (10pm - 1am), but in the mean time we decided to just enable the site again in the mean time. You may encounter some errors with the site (many of them being deprecated errors). Just report them to us and I'll work on getting them resolved as soon as I can. In the mean time I am going to try and get the staff together so we can begin discussing where we are going to go from here.

Submitted a faux set around rollover last night, so now the page is empty again. However, when I resubmit, it says Invalid PNG type, and Invalid PSD type. I know it's not my files' issue since i submitted those files last night perfectly, so i think it's a glitch?

only problem i'm having is my original post about monsters in the suggestions forum got eaten...which I don't mind. I can redo the post. But for some reason when my friend links me to the one titled 'bring back explore monsters' (which is my post that got eaten) it takes me to a user-help post (but still shows up with my title). Somehow I guess my original post needs to be completely deleted if possible. I'm not sure what to do about that.

Had Scara + Lemon (#76) make a USD purchase in exchange for my GP. Not sure if the GP is currently on their account--but it is for sure no longer with me. And nor are the items I traded for :( MDT and 2x Recolour Potion 5 pack. (so 10 total). Would be nice to have these make and would also be nice to know if Scara has her gp currently (scara if you see this, lemme know please.)

Several post topics are suddenly in the wrong spots and when you click on them the one you thought you clicked on is gone and you're taken to another post entirely. Prolly b/c the original post was eaten by the downtime. X.x

I'm unable to upload offspring for the sbc breedings assigned to me. I receive the error "Cannot upload the file `offspring_image` for the following reason(s): Folder to upload file to is not writable."

Clicking on the "custom pets" link through the menu takes me right back to news. Half an hour ago a bunch of code popped up at the top of the page but didn't seem to affect gameplay and didn't last long. I cannot remember if I spent it but I might be missing some BP, last I checked I had a bit over 200k but when the site finally worked it was around 170k (the last bit might be a mistake on my end but I have seen other complaints of missing currency so I figured it's worth mentioning. It's not much of a loss though) and when I was finally able to use the site the first thing that happened was my notifications were messed up, but going to the page and viewing them all at once seemed to fix it. They wouldn't take me anywhere and didn't look right, just large text instead of tidy little notes.
A small handful of mentions to look out for. Good luck figuring everything out!
