Time to Vote!

Site Update

It's time to vote! Voting is important this year, isn't it? ;)

We have six genuses from you to choose from. Please select TWO bases that you would like to vote for. The top voted base, as described before, will be the new "Faux in the Box" feature pet! It will have its own box. The second place pet will be added as a trinket species!

So get voting, and in forty-eight hours (or less, probably, but we'll have the poll open that long) we'll know who the winners are! And the rest you can expect as future Raw Crystal pets... or something.

For those of you upset about the Paintbrushes leaving because you do not have PayPal accounts, you will still be able to commission artists through the Commissions panel. We have an "Escrow" add-on feature coming to the panel that facilitates a three way trade between an artist, a commissioner with USD, and a buyer with GP or items that protects all three individuals in the trade.

It's a complicated feature to describe and engineer, and it won't be out until an estimated late March or early April, but it should solve the problems of not being able to send PayPal money.

I just love the second and third one! A cute little sheep and a roo, hard to beat. I tried to show the snake to my mom, I thought she was going to kill me *( fear of snakes).

The commission feature isn't for real life items, or unrelated art. Only for site stuff. Users have to handle rl stuff/seperate stuff on their own.

If the artist doesn't have paypal they'll have to deal with it. If the commissioner doesnt have paypal, you'll have to deal with it. Aywas isn't catering for unrelated stuff or rl stuff.

You can adventure for BP and trade for GP. You can buy GP with amazon. There is never not a way to get GP you have to work for it though. but there's never not a way.

the snake thing is cute but it is like...its just a snake. the thing on the bottom though is so weird looking and unique and cute and silly looking i had to vote for that one. but i see how the snake would win. its more customizable anyway.

Nyhk ♚ Kili (#2127) if they didn't cater to it, then why do they have a section for it in the site rules? "USD Sales of Designs By Artists" section. To sell my artwork outside of the commissions platform/paintbrushes is against site rules as it specifies here. The commissions platform, to my understanding, is only for digital art (aywas and HA work). It's the one reason I don't use it despite less fees compared to the paintbrushes (50 versus 15). So then without paintbrushes, I can't sell at all because of that. While I get that you don't really care/don't feel that that's important because it may not be directly aywas related, I don't find it fair that users who do digital/traditional art that's of Ha/ocs/non aywas related work can still do commissions but I can't, and side note you would still need to pay USD for the commissions platform, so again most users luck out. Not many here own paypal/are able to pay in usd, so something like a paintbrush was a good option for them to get art (not just physical like mine, but others who rely heavily on rl commissions). The paintbrush fees were way too expensive however, so not many people used it, but if the Escrow-whatsit has an option for me, then I'm satisfied. I may be like 1% of this whole thing, and again you may not see this as important, but it's important to me. Users shouldn't have to 'deal with it' if there can be an option to fix this issue. All I'm asking on this is to see if a user with gp can pay another user for them to pay someone who does rl items usd, like if it has that option. At this point I'm assuming the Escrow has this option of gp>usd>art, so I feel that category should have rl-items as an option as well.

Well, basically ALL of these are cute. ;) I picked two, but I could have -really- easily picked four.
