Time to Vote!

Site Update

It's time to vote! Voting is important this year, isn't it? ;)

We have six genuses from you to choose from. Please select TWO bases that you would like to vote for. The top voted base, as described before, will be the new "Faux in the Box" feature pet! It will have its own box. The second place pet will be added as a trinket species!

So get voting, and in forty-eight hours (or less, probably, but we'll have the poll open that long) we'll know who the winners are! And the rest you can expect as future Raw Crystal pets... or something.

For those of you upset about the Paintbrushes leaving because you do not have PayPal accounts, you will still be able to commission artists through the Commissions panel. We have an "Escrow" add-on feature coming to the panel that facilitates a three way trade between an artist, a commissioner with USD, and a buyer with GP or items that protects all three individuals in the trade.

It's a complicated feature to describe and engineer, and it won't be out until an estimated late March or early April, but it should solve the problems of not being able to send PayPal money.

^Yeah, shoulda read comments before I voted. lol If the snake does win, I will be happy with it being the trinket species. ^_^ Great points about it's editability... then again I've seen some pets on here like, "how tf do you even see that when you look at a Melo? I just see a fricking dog/cat thing". lol

Opaline Dragon (#550) it was like 4 am when I posted that xD wasn't the best way to word it/voice my opinion. I should've waited till morning so that I could be more level headed in my questioning. I'm actually slightly embarrassed by my comments on here ono;;,

i can support all those claims these earlier guys made. :'D I’ve been playing Aywas since…about 2011. It confused me at first, so I didn’t play much til 2012/2013. I do not art on this website, like, I’m not a site artist, I can’t color for my life, but I do scribbly things and sometimes little arts. The point is…I’ve never spent money on this site–don’t get me wrong, I love this site, and I would spend money if I could, but I’m not well-off financially, I’m a full time student, my parents would never allow me to, I don’t think I could allow myself to spend $$ either…;-; I don’t adventure much. I didn’t even know about Stylebot until a few months ago. However, that’s not even the point.

I’ve managed to submit over 25 PLBC breedings. I’ve managed to get SCCs, PBCs, GCCs, etc., get about 5 Design Tickets, etc. over the course of my time on here. I’ve managed to save up 1300 GP at one point. I don’t have a TON of friends on Aywas either, nor do I get many awesome gifts (I still get a few. <3 and i love you peeps for that. C: it makes my day!)–but I still did it.

Now, yeah, i'm sad that i don't get to hoard PBs and commission syncline easily, but it's not impossible.

Don't worry about me, guys. I'm just a pessimist. I can't bare to get my hopes anymore, since nothing ever works out in the end. It's not worth wasting your kindnes on me. I'll eventually have a break down, say somthing mean/stupid, and get myself alienated again.

I see people complaining about the editability of the snake, but honestly out of all of them except the kangaroo, the snake seems like it's got the most potential to be edited...

To me all of them seem pretty difficult to do much with -- The sheep has all that wool you'd have to work around if you want to change anything, the whale takes up a lot of space and is pretty much one solid shape with a huge section of it being head, the panda's very similar in that regard but would be a bit easier since at least the head isn't drawn totally into the body, and the shark is over 50% head so there's not any way to change the head and anything else.

The kangaroo is probably the best to edit, but JUST THIS MONTH we got another pet that was a kangaroo (and koala mix) but still. It doesn't seem as far fetched as everyone is making it out to be.

Maybe if the edits weren't quite so bobbleheaded then there would be more prospective for editing, but that's not the case...

I clicked submit before selecting a second base ;-;
At least the ones I'm favoring are in the lead, heh.
