litwick (#7410) Please remember to not use chatspeak in public areas of Aywas, as per the ToS =)

Yo, Marjo, if your rebuttal consists entirely of irrelevant nitpicking, then I'm going to have to assume you agree with my actual argument (ie that Eve is really good at not doing her job).

As news post comments cannot be edited I felt it was appropriate to inform you of the ToS here, rather than via PM, where others can see that ToS infringement isn't condoned. This removed the need to delete your comment, and any undue amount of stress that may have caused =)

One: The clock is very pretty, and happy birthday to its recipient!

Two: Evelyn is an extremely hard worker, that started out as a player. Her time administrating for the site is completely voluntary, not obligatory. If you're so concerned about the queue, consider applying instead of wasting both your and her time heckling her over something you have no clue about. :)

P.S., My apologies to both Evelyn and Marjo.

Since I'm still not seeing any refutal or opposition to my initial argument, once more I'm going to assume that you agree with me. Nice to see that you think Eve needs to get her priorities sorted, too. Here's a toast to our alliance, may your fields be fertile and your babes righteous.

Kokoro, you seem really nice! Here's how I see the situation.
1: If voluntary work isn't enough to keep up with the queues, then the site should look into hiring people for real money.
2: Voluntary work definitely isn't enough to keep up with the queues. I have a pet that's been in for abt 6 months and have a friend whose pet has been there nearly a year.
3: Queue speed ought to be one of the site's top priorities. It isn't being treated like it is.
4: And yet progress towards making the queue speed reasonable has been at a standstill for months now, since apparently breeding panel could be recoded but no programmer time could be spared towards making a custom check program, and for some reason helpers take 4+ months to train and are alsp being asked to beta test coding, which, frankly, I think is a lower priority than gett queues moving.

Eve works hard for no pay, granted. Obviously, though, that isn't working, and I'd much rather have a paid worker keeping the queue moving than a self-sacrificing martyr.

litwick (#7410) If you insist on going over things that have already been explained to you, as well as the rest of the site, publicly, please take it to PM. Be advised the harassing of anyone on this site, staff or otherwise, will not be tolerated.

Litwick, I am going to circumvent this conversation with experience for a moment. I've both ran and created sites, and games alike. Common courtesy here dictates that if you can not bother to assist, then you shouldn't waste the workers time with commentary that distracts and distorts their time to the work itself. Especially in a public place, which is used as a device to shame the worker for the work they have already put in, and that is pending.

Back on topic. You are heckling the wrong tier of staff for any progress to be made, if you are looking into the situation of paying for work. Instead, you should communicate with the owner, perhaps with an offer to assist in paying for the services you desire.

You do not have a view into the sites workings, as-is, and do not understand the situation at hand. There are staff being trained to handle the queue, and this takes a matter of time. While this side information has been made public, you are not involved with the inner workings enough to understand how everything works. Again, I implore you, if you desire to assist then please do apply with Aywas. I am sure there are openings available.

There is coding in the work, but it's being done by one programmer, and that takes time as well. This is another part where I am going to state, apply and assist, as that will definitely speed up any lacking processes.

Finally, if you do not like how www.Aywas.com is staffed or moderated, please consider releasing your own site where work is properly handled.

I request any further communication on this topic is moved to PM, and hope you have a wonderful time at www.aywas.com

- Kokoro

PS., I again apologize to Evelyn and Marjo.
