Terms of Service Update

Site Update

We have updated our Terms of Service to reflect the fact that Aywas now uses AdSense to serve advertisements (section: Privacy Policy). At the moment we have one ad, which will show at the bottom of the page, but one will be added to the left side as well.

Following the recent PBC discussion, we came to a conclusion: the users understandably do not want to pay more for breeding coins, but the artists want to be paid more. As a result, we came up with a way to pay artists more without raising the price of coins--serving advertisements that help bridge that financial gap. You can read more about this discussion here.

Aywas is committed to blacklisting ads that are offensive or behave in ways that aggravate or diminish the player's experience. To report an advertisement, go to this thread in the Help forums and we will investigate the situation and block the ad if needed.

By starting our ad serving now, we'll have a half month to see how much revenue we can expect from this, and can better inform our artists what to expect in terms of ad-paid bonuses monthly.

Google apparently thinks I'm a delicate elderly rpg junkie.

I will stop being chronically afk and actually whitelist, which I meant to do earlier. A lot earlier. I don't know where my day went. *laughs*

I'm willing to give it a chance.. I don't whitelist anything but I'd like to help support the main draw of the site and the artists.

I'm actually horribly excited that this is a thing and have Aywas removed from Adblocker. The location of the ads doesn't bother me at all and I'm hoping for good results fro it all.

As long as the ads aren't obnoxious, I'm all for it!

Glad to see the ads are so far tame and non flashy, though I sorta wish we could have both on the bottom XD

Hope this helps=)

The one on the sidebar is a little jarring but good to see that they're not too imposing. Those talking about viruses and such though...uhm...where's your anti-virus? I have Bit Defender and it does a marvelous job. - L

My favourite ad so far is the one for commercial slushie machines.

Thank you for not putting the ads across the top of the screen - that drives me crazy ^^
