One of our fellow Aywas members works at an animal shelter that's in the running to win some money for their cause!
It's called the Husky House, and it needs your votes to win. You can vote every day until Dec 22. I sure plan to!
We love shelters here at Aywas, so if you have a spare moment to vote, your effort could translate into a better life for some wonderful huskies :)

Voted. Huskies are cute, but too big to keep in a city. I don't understand how people do it.
(I know people in my neighborhood who keep huskies illegally in their apartments. The dogs only get to go outside in the early morning hours or late at night because of the ban which could get their owners a hefty $1000 fine... Though, I'm sure they had the huskies before the law came into effect and just didn't want to give the away/abandon them.)
