One of our fellow Aywas members works at an animal shelter that's in the running to win some money for their cause!
It's called the Husky House, and it needs your votes to win. You can vote every day until Dec 22. I sure plan to!
We love shelters here at Aywas, so if you have a spare moment to vote, your effort could translate into a better life for some wonderful huskies :)

Voted - I owned a half-husky, half-german shepherd rescue dog - he was the sweetest, gentlest dog ever, and a fantastic guard dog. I miss him immensely. Even though mom got to name him XD

Voted too! I had a lot of huskies in my life because they're my mother's favourite breed and they're absolutely lovely dogs when they have the right environment!

Thanks for posting about this, haven't heard anything about it for local shelters. Glad I can help a shelter in someway! Do they do this for cats ever? o.o
