We're starting to roll out a new shop search! It's still a work in progress, but it's a big improvement over the previous one, which caused serious lag.

The new alphabetical order of the pets is fantastic, thank you so much!
The similar search is implemented now, I saw, that´s great.
What´s still lacking is a description of the items, I wouldn´t know where to go to find that. I hope it´ll show up in the end like before.

I saw the latest comment and got all excited thinking the pets were alphabetized again but they're not so I'm not sure what that is referring to. If I had to pick one feature I would like to change it would be the fact that the species names seem to be totally random within a genus so you either need to type the entire name (very quickly or else it resets what it thinks you're looking for) or scroll through all the pets in that genus in random order. Not a problem for a genus without a lot of species in it, but not fun if you're looking for Melos or Solis.
I assume y'all are working on getting the BP/GP links in the Aywaypedia fixed so they sync to the new search feature and that can't happen fast enough for me. I used to use that feature all the time and it's frustrating that it isn't working anymore. All in good time I'm sure. I'll do my best to be patient and thanks to everyone working on this for all your efforts improving the site!

Far as I know the species are in the order they were added to the site - I've seen this elsewhere and while it makes sense of a sort can be murder looking for something whose "item name" you don't know. As there are some areas where the GENUSES are Alpha and the pets are random, and others where the genuses are by origin and the SPECIES are alpha, all I can think is they are waiting for a consensus on style, lol.
What I DON'T like is losing the redirect to the member shop...is there a way to "get there from here"? I enjoyed exploring the variations on a general keyword - one of the few ways to look for something you don't know anything about - but even more I loved exploring other shops and finding things I never even knew existed. (The Search bar having no memory is a bit of a drag as well - previously I could hit one letter and choose my item, now it wants me to type the whole name each time.)

The item search is a huge pain for the obvious reasons that have been stated multiple times already. Pet search was a huge improvement, so there is a silver lining in the revamp
