We're starting to roll out a new shop search! It's still a work in progress, but it's a big improvement over the previous one, which caused serious lag.

To be honest, I haven't really used the Shop Search in a while. I always default to the Aywapedia for pets and the Item Database for items... Now I can't use either? >:U I appreciate the effort because yes, the old Shop Search was buggy, but I'll be holding out hope that searching user shop inventory via the Aywapedia and Database will be restored. OnO

Just a note - I AM IN LOVE with the new quick stock - MUCH better!!!! :D :D :D
But still want a way to quick stock items into item gallery and to be able to quick stock charged items. It's a pita to move charged items one by one into the shop. :D
But back to topic - I do like the old way, but I think it can be improved upon due to lag issues - the images are hard on that... do we really need to have the images to know what we want to look for?
Like if I typed in Silver - it'll return all items that have silver in it - I don't need to see the images - the names are enough to tell me which one I need to search. This would be faster.

I really hope there's a plan to put back the whole keyword search. I use that a lot when making themed HA's by searching a specific color or word and it'd be a lot less convenient without that. Also, A way to display both BP and GP would be nice, but a simple click shows the other one and doesn't take up a lot of time, so that's not so bad. I like it other than the keyword search, and for now I'll assume that will be added back in.

Sunny, I have to disagree on the images part. Sometimes people search items not looking for something specific, so pictures help.

I want to know what 'lag' this is supposed to have fixed. The site is running exactly the same as it did before. All this 'improvement' has done is make one of the few functional, useful tools in this site now useless. I think we all agree that we'd take back whatever supposed lag there was if it meant getting a functional, useful shop search back, with all the features we need and want. Basically; don't 'fix' what's not broken.

Well so far the new search sucks butt. Separate searches for GP and BP, one image/item at a time. Sometimes to blow some cash, I'll just search for "potion", then ctrl+T all potions that look promising and buy a ton. Can't do that anymore.
Enter key doesn't work. Not huge but alittle bit annoying.
Other than that, it looks nice.
I'd just like BP/GP together and more images.
Currently, I like the item database more because I can search for all my items like the old shop search. I get a 404 error if I try to go to a shop through it, but once that's fixed, I'll probably just use the item database instead of shop search lol

The only problem I have is it doesn't show BP&GP at the same time.. It kinda makes it harder to price stuff.

I can't search for "Pet" or "Custom" or "SCC" pets now? Haven't tested the rest out.. But searching for things used to freeze up aywas for me so if this works, I'm grateful for the update. :)
