We're starting to roll out a new shop search! It's still a work in progress, but it's a big improvement over the previous one, which caused serious lag.

Same as other said, it's kinda difficult to find the right item if you know only a part of the name or if some full item name is similar to part of another item, it would be easier if all options including that part would be given.
I also liked the overview of gp/bp prices in one screen actually (which doesn't seem possible anymore?) to see if it's better to buy with gp or bp (mainly for the higher end items, of course).

Oh so THAT'S why I was getting 404s when going site search page -> shop search for cooking items... Phew, didn't break the site. ^^;

I just tested the "pet search" option looking for Chromos, and... first page did not have one single Chromo. Refreshing the page didn't load more pets though, it sent me back to the main shop search page.
So it's definitely a work in progress.

I searched for caramel. The last search was man meat. Des "thought" for a minute and when he was though, it still show the search for man meat, Second Time it work. A little bit of instruction on how it worked would have helped.

I don't like the 1 item showing up...But pet search never seemed to work for me. And I really like being able to buy the items without having to go into the shop. If I need 10 of an item, and there's a bunch of 1 and 2 in a shop, it was horrid before.
Enter key fix please though. x3

i agree with everyone else, needs the option of searching for something and all options coming up, other than that, i think its absolutely amazing! :D

Wow! Just used the new feature - can I just say how wonderful it is not to have to go back and forth when searching! Huge congrats on a super slick game improvement, thanks so much. *waving lots from a chilly England*

When I first used it I hated it. I had very little idea on how to use it. Now that I know better how to use it, it is not so bad. It still needs some tweaks, like showing the items in a keyword search the old way.

Yes, the loading time is quicker now. However, especially for me as a newbie, the keyword search is essential. I don´t know all the items around and experience all the new ones I write up to buy some time only by keyboard search. Also, sometimes the search shows strange results, for example searching for Reve Strips and only typing Reve leads to showing the HA dress Forever Sparkling. Please bring the old keyword search back!!!!!! Pet search also doesnn´t work better than before in my opinion.
