We're starting to roll out a new shop search! It's still a work in progress, but it's a big improvement over the previous one, which caused serious lag.

Really missing the list when searching for keywords... :/ And I miss having the option to see BP and GP prices side-by-side. Otherwise, it's nice; buy buttons with the buy notification feel a bit awkward, though.

For me the biggest issue is this: I always used to hate not being able to see both GP and BP prices for PETS in 1 search, and was hoping that would change one day.
Now, what happened, is a huge step back, since we now also have to look twice for ITEMS.
I do understand this is a WIP so hopefully this is just how the general outlook will be and things will still change for the better =)

Bat17 - you have a good point there regarding images vs item names for people who know the image but not the exact name of that image.

Sorry to be so negative but as far as I can see the pet search does not work at all now! I put in very specific information on the breed and name of the pet and got a totally random set of pets!!! Now that the search from aywapedia is no longer working how on earth are we supposed to find pets we need?
I know this is a work in progress but it's really frustrating that we cant find pets while this is being done.

Haven't tried the pet search yet, but I agree about the item one - right now it's awful to use, so I hope it get fixed soon. Actually, the major problem I find, is the fact that even with the "similar" search, it shows only one item at a time. For example, I'm really happy I've created a new HA some days ago and not now, since I was searching for any "ears" items, to see the ones I like the most... I can't imagine putting "ears" and refreshing a billion times, and not even being sure if I had seen all of the items.
I don't like complaining like that, so I really hope you understand the problem, or that this is only because it's a WIP.

It looks a LOT better than the previous search, and on my dead slow computer I really notice the improved loading time!
Only thing I'm missing is some way to search for the prices both in GP and BP at the same time. Would it be possible to add that as a third option?

So not a fan at all. I love all the hard work that you guys put in, and hate to be negative, and I am sure that most of the issues will be fixed, but I really want my old search back. Yes it was messy, maybe adding the old search tabbed out like the new one would be great, but I can deal with whatever lag issues it caused to have my old reliable and useful search back. I am having the same problems as everyone else, the BP/GP not on same page, I am a keyword searcher as well, lack of an enter button, and the pet search Oh my, the pet search.....I can not find a thing at all in there. Which worries me because I am cleaning out my lair and have hundreds of pets to sell and I can not find them!!! I would love a pet search that showed a link list like the shop search and a separate search for customs cause they need the pictures. I like the idea of genus and coloration names being separate instead of the old way, though it will take me forever to get used to it!
On that note though, there have been a lot of changes to the site that have kind of made things not useful to me anymore. Like the pet auctions. I hate those drop downs, when you have over 5k pets, they are a big pain. I miss the pictures, tab them open and auction away. I have not used it but for a few pets since the change and I used to use it a lot.
I kind of feel like my favorite things are being streamlined into uselessness! I just wish there was a better way.
Still love you guys, I know you work hard and you cant make all of us happy all of the time.
