Site Update

Since a lot of us are artists and this is an artist community, I want you guys to know about this.

About a week ago, Adobe suffered a massive hacking breach, where hackers gained access to over 150 million (estimated) usernames, emails, and passwords. Adobe is the company that puts out Photoshop, and a lot of us use it.

You should take the time to change all of your passwords on any site you might use if you have been an Adobe customer. LastPass has a free service that lets you check to see if your e-mail was on Adobe's servers, thus your information could have been compromised in the attack.

My email was on the list, so I needed to go change all my passwords. Please be sure you're safe and change all of yours too, because 150 million people compromised could include you and your friends.

Okay, so guys, I was one of the derpy ones that actually clicked the link in the email LastPass sent out, and what came up with a password hint that was related to the password I had during the hack early October. Luckily, I don't used that password really anywhere anymore, but still. Just saying.

Now I'm thankful I chose GIMP, but me being Mrs. Paranoia I switched every password I have on other sites, and next is my email. But I do have to thank this post because my mom's email was on the list.

The email I use for adobe isnt really one I use anymore besides for "spam"... so I am pretty sure I am safe.

I put my email into LastPass and another checker, and it was on the list. Yet I never received an email from Adobe about it nor was prompted to change my password when I logged on. :|

Mine isn't in the released list yet, but it's also why I sued my old junk email for the adobe account. It sucks because it was a program I got free with my tablet. T3T I hate most adobe products.
