Apple Festival

Site Update

The Apple Festival is in season!

The Phoenix Tree is dropping Flaming Apples for the month of September.

Flaming Apples are quite useful in their own right as they yield BP and a chance at a custom making item. However, if you're feeling competitive, you can turn in your Flaming Apples at the Apple Festival.

At the end of September, the top ten winners of the Apple Festival will get a Bottled Starlight and a PSD use of an apple-themed Lunaris made by Soul. The top player who has donated the most apples to the festival will also receive an apple-themed Xaoc designed by Soul.

Please note that the Apple Festival is officially replacing the double BP event as it produces a lot of BP.

Pryren, I know, that's what I'm saying.

Tech, that's the whole thing. A double BP event through adventure would not leave it to luck. I would get a lot of BP cause I'd work super hard for it. I don't like leaving things to luck. The fact that I always have bad luck in these kind of events doesn't help either.

You can also get items along with the BP, Psyren. I've seen people get items worth several GP. Opening an apple literally takes five seconds. You get that wealth instantly. No one is stopping you from adventuring for BP afterwards.

Yeah, I'm not arguing this, sorry guys. I was just pointing out one thing, I don't really want to get involved nor do I have an investment in whether or not the double bp thing happens since I don't explore hahah - tech

I love the apples :) I think it is a cute idea that they can be harvested once a year :P Like our Apple tree in the back yard XD

yeah, the items and stuff are also 'luck of the draw'. That does NOT make up for the MILLIONS of bp that myself and several other users LOST during the site's downtime. The double BP event would have. This, sorry to say, will not.

I wouldn't mind the event at all, except this event does not need to replace something that was already promised to us to repair the damage that was done during downtime. it needs to be seperate.

Well, I'm not going to argue this either. But..just like'd to add that the apples are going for 3 GP each in user shops. That seems like a tidy profit for one click. :)

what did i get when I opened my ONE apple? My pet's energy was replenished by 10 (my pet didn't NEED his energy to be replenished) and 25k. that doesn't even begin to make a dent in what I lost.

Fiery: it's NOT when you consider how much was lost in the downtime. And the fact that this is supposed to replace an event that was designed to reimburse us for what we had lost.

IF the event was being held independently from the double bp event that was promised to us, then yes it would be a nice profit. but as a replacement? it's just not.

Well, with the current BP to GP conversion rate, for every apple you sell, you get 3mil BP....

So even if you got 1 apple every day, you could earn 90mil from this event if you sold the apples for 3 GP, and the GP for 1mil each.
