The Apple Festival is in season!
The Phoenix Tree is dropping Flaming Apples for the month of September.
Flaming Apples are quite useful in their own right as they yield BP and a chance at a custom making item. However, if you're feeling competitive, you can turn in your Flaming Apples at the Apple Festival.
At the end of September, the top ten winners of the Apple Festival will get a Bottled Starlight and a PSD use of an apple-themed Lunaris made by Soul. The top player who has donated the most apples to the festival will also receive an apple-themed Xaoc designed by Soul.
Please note that the Apple Festival is officially replacing the double BP event as it produces a lot of BP.

@49712 - The bottled starlight you have a chance to win from turning them in. You will not get a bottled starlight from using them.

I didn't get a raw blue crystal or anything, was that message just not meant to be there?

oh, hang on, I DID get a raw blue crystal, I just didn't notice that I had already had one and the new one stacked with it so it didn't show up as my newest item haha nevermind!

Oh. Returning item from last year. Yeah, that sounds TOTALLY fair to me.
I understand some people not having time, I get it. But is the number of apples you get from the tree per day random? Is the BP they give out fixed or random? I guess this is just a little too ~random~ for my liking, I was really looking forward to the double BP event. I got 25k from my apple and I find more than that lying around in the West River for the ransoms/stashes. -irritated sigh-

... Is this going to become a yearly event then, or just a one-off to replace the double-bp event (which would have netted me a lot more BP, I admit - though not the possible items, so not sure which event I would actually prefer.)

Can we know what items they give out now? One of my friend got some kind of bcc crumb thing and that wasn't listed under the wiki, and I'm wondering if they can still give out sccs and lbcs. - tech

The news notification goes out anytime a news post is edited, sorry about that. n_n; It's automatic. The Double BP event would not have run a whole month, maybe a couple days at most? *not sure* You'll get less per day, but over more days, should even out. Ah, I misinterpreted the question - the custom making items you can get out of the Flaming Apples themselves is NOT a Bottled Starlight - that's for the leader-board only.
