Actually, when I think of a melo I do think of the alt because it resembles the ORIGINAL melo, the one I knew as a melo for most of my time on Aywas. It can look evil or friendly or cute. That's not really a valid point, whereas the new melo looks constantly blank and still looks puffy and bizarre even with a lot of angles. If you have a taxidermy melo, though, it would fit very well.

Bat, it is quite capable of being edited to look evil or discontent or anything like that. To be frank, as much as I love the 'new line melos' they are actually harder to edit and make look 'evil'. The alt has dynamic that is easy to adjust to whatever another person wants. Also, you are being highly passive aggressive and rude, you might want to step back.

The only reason I voted for Imay's design, Bat, was because of the legs; the legs on the current melo look like they are about to slid forward and that has always bothered me. Not everyone is voting for Imay because it looks cuter and friendlier.
And making a pet look evil/friendly is very easy; all it takes is a few lines, so I don't know why people are making that argumen.

If you take the new and old and alt and put them next to each other, the new is only tweaked a tiny bit, but the alt is facing a different way, it is taller, bigger ears, more skinny tail, and one paw is off the ground. Huge difference.

Everyone is saying the alt looks cuter and friendlier! That doesnt matter! The new looks cute and friendly too! When you think of a melo you dont think of the alt! And nobody wants every single melo to be cute and friendly! It needs to be able to leave room so that the pet can be made so it can have various personality options. Would you really want a pet that is supposed to look evil, also look friendly and cute?
