Would you guys care to have the alt Imay melo replace the "new melo" as the official/explore lines?
vs 
Alt vs New
If so, the "new melo" would become alt lines, and the "alt Imay melo" would become the usual explore and event lines.

And it really bugs me how people are saying that if the Alt is chosen that the New won't become more rare, because it will. People are not taking into account that some people only focus on site pet s, not customs. Whether they can't afford customs, aren't good at making them, or simply prefer site pets, it isn't fair not to consider this. Don't vote based on whether customs will change, vote as if there was no such things as custom pets, because there are many users who play the game as if they don't. I think there have been many events and contests where this is not acknowledged also. Everything is based on skills in art and writing, leaving out those who are less skilled or do not enjoy art or writing. For example, the Adopt a Custom. The only people with a chance are those who are good with art or writing and formatting. Personally, I would love one of those customs, but Not only do I hate to write, but I don't like to give my pets petpages. Does that mean I don't get a chance at one of those pets? Well, apparently it does. This same attitude in which people are oblivious to the fact that not everyone thinks the same way or likes the same things contributes to how people are not realizing that customs should have nothing to do with picking melos. And wow, i am really ranting here, aren't I? Got a bit off topic for a bit lol. I think I've made my point though.

@6094 no because if people think the new meant the alt, then they would vote for alt thinking it was the current melo.

I love both, but I've always thought that the New lost some essential features that were on the Old, while the Alt kept those features. So, Alt.

The Alt just doesn't look like a melo. It is just a completely different pet. I said earlier I would cry if alt was chosen, and i wasn't joking.

I prefer the Alt Imay; to me, it's face looks happier/friendlier and I personally love the raised paw, that's what does it for me.

@39846 that is true, but i don't see it as a good thing. That means it is harder to have different personalities for the pet. There needs to be more room for diversity among what the colored pets would look like. However they turn out, there needs to be a way to make the looks different enough so they don't all seem to have the same personality. The New melo is made in a way that it gives an impression that is very different among those who see the different melos, and also because of the way they are made. They can be made to look friendly, evil, angry, and just have a larger range of personalities

@38126 if people on the poll thought that "new" meant the alt imay lines because they're newest, that would mean that there are //less// actual votes for the new lines"--not more.
