Would you guys care to have the alt Imay melo replace the "new melo" as the official/explore lines?

Alt vs New
If so, the "new melo" would become alt lines, and the "alt Imay melo" would become the usual explore and event lines.

I agree, the post is confusing. I associate the Ilay Melo as "new", since it was the most recently released lines. It took two read-overs before I realized what I was doing. I recommend making the post clearer and **remaking the poll** because some users may be getting confused and voting for the wrong option. I don't want either to win if the results were botched because of misunderstandings.

The Imay melo is better for editing in Cel's opinion, the only thing Cel likes more on the new melo is the paws xD

So would that mean that for breeding {as far as rbc is concerned, sicne we cant color alts for metals} if the imay alt becomes the 'new', we'd be able to work with that one? 8D \hopes so\

I love the alt lines, but I'd love them more if they'd actually stayed alt. The Melo is kind of a "signature pet" for Aywas, seeing how many officla colorations there are for it. Would feel funny if THE Aywas Pet would suddenly change looks so drastically.
Having the alt lines that are posed so differently is a refreshing option on Melos. But seeing them all over the site everywhere would "use up" the fresh feeling of them very soon, I assume. Which, in my opinion, would most possibly leave us with two Melo lines we are very well used to and feel not extra-special of owning.
By the way: if I'm not mistaken, there are still some Melos left with the old lines, are they? Would a new official pose mean that each and every Melo, even those that has been already replaced with the new Melo lines, have to be replaced again? Or only the ones that still have old lines? Or neither of both, but only those that are to be created/found from now on..?

The alt melo is ultra cute, but the paw that's in the air kinda kills it... It just doesn't look right, in my opinion? But since it's more cartoony, its easier to edit, and I think that would be pretty good. I think that's also the reason people still use old lineart melos for their customs: because its more cartoony! Nothing against the new melo, it looks really fluffy and nice, but I figured I would share my little opinion.

I support the Imay replacing it. Change is good. :) Plus, it's popular enough that it will probably get far more submissions than the "new" lines. Which I'm guessing is the reason for the poll perhaps?

Okay, well, I like the blue one better, but I believe the original should also stay. Both are adorable.
