I really have no idea why I picked this image, it's just for aesthetics
When Aywas opened up more than three years ago, I hadn't actually expected anyone to want to play it (considering the previous site I'd opened up hadn't had more than five or six people on at a time), so much of the site was pretty rushed! I knew pet sites needed characters in them, so I'd tossed in some roleplay characters with a very close friend of mine that I knew well so I could have fun playing them :)
I gave staff the green light to start adding new characters of their design to the site about a year back, but how about we open this up to everyone who'd like to contribute?
Under the suggestions forum is a new subgroup, the Character Workshop!! All you have to do to contribute a character to the site is snag a profile off the current list and fill it out, then add some reference pictures. A new character artist will be selected in about a month and all the new characters will make their debut!
Try to make your character as related to Aywas as you can, that's what makes the world more grounded! And don't forget, your contributed character can be human, anthro, or pet... it's all up to you!

Oh my gosh so excited! *-* I'm really excited to see that area fleshed out a bit, I think it really helps you get "into" the game rather than just "oh I wonder if my custom came though yet?" yay!

You can contribute characters of any type you want, there are no limitations.

I.. I honestly was okay with the NPCs so far.. but this definitely proves you read ACs and care about the community's opinion.
