A leopard (of any gender) bred to a jaguar (of any opposing gender) produces a Jagulep. Supposedly, around 1908, a hybrid that was famously called "Lijagulep" was being showcased in London. It was the offspring of a Jagulep and a lion.
The Lijagulep had another name the "Congolese Spotted Lion". An interesting fact about this? Though there is many reports of Lijaguleps being bred and born, only one was ever exhibited as a "Congolese Spotted Lion"; thus there is still much speculation regarding the large feline that was the size of a lioness with the colorations of dark leopard/jaguar spots.

I hope I'm not too late! If a male lion kills a lioness's cubs, she'll mate with him and have his cubs.

The Florida Panther is one of the most endangered big cats and only 80 to 100 are estimated to still exist. Partly to blame for their dwindling numbers is mercury poisoning. Panthers in the everglades eat raccoons whose bodies contain dangerously high levels of mercury acquired from contaminated fish.
