Bank CDs have been tweaked to address the inflation of BP caused by the amount of return coming from CDs. Hopefully you will all find these changes fair.

1. The original 7-day CD was changed into a 14-day CD, and its return changed to 2%
2. The 30-day CD's return was changed to 6%
3. The max one can invest into the top three CDs is now 50,000,000 BP
4. A new CD was added, 7-day, with a 5% return rate and a max investment of 1,000,000.
5. The largest CD, the 90-day CD, did not have its return rate changed, but rather the others were changed to scale according to it.

The GP CDs were not changed.

Okay, in all honesty I have read through every post here and I understand all the points made and I agree with some arguments on both sides, but in all I am okay with the change. What upsets me isn't the change itself, but that for as long as I've been /really/ active here, (aka about a month) it seems like changes are made way too quickly without any warning to the general Aywas population.

Take the Metal Breeding Coins for a second- no I am not griping about it, just please hear me out- when the price was doubled all of a sudden back a few weeks ago with no warning, I was very upset because I'd been saving for it for quite a while and just had enough BP to get it when that was done. I admit I was irrationally angry for it being a simple internet game and for me having only been saving for a half-month or so, but still I spent at least four hours everyday in that half-month working in explore to get that BP and my first reaction was rage at the lack of notice. I felt cheated and lied to and very much felt like giving up on Aywas. Of course, this was my childish first reaction and I decided to just suck it up and save up for another half-month to get the coin- thanks jamew for giving me one after seeing my post- but it is still the kind of reaction these hair-pin turn changes promote. I know that I'd have handled it much better had a weeks notice. I might have even managed to make the extra 20k I still needed the night before in time to actually get the coin for myself before the change. What's the harm in warning people that the change is coming? Sure, people might have suddenly set up a couple more last minute CDs and another 50mil or so might have been made out of nowhere before it was changed, but I feel people would have been more appreciative of the change given the warning and whatever they could make in a week would just be a little more of the problem lasting for a little longer. After all, aren't you making these changes to promote a healthy economy, and in turn, -and likely the most important part of any online society- a happy community?

Sigh, sorry for the accidental -and extremely long- double post. (Make this also an apology for my triple posting)
