Uhm...
Wasn't the theme Pencil sketches
Which means none of those are eligible because they are fully drawn and shaded pencil drawings. There is a difference.
PLEASE be more specific next time!

Next time there is such a vague theme we need more information/rules on what can and cannot be entered. Even before this contest started I suggested that rules should be outlined beforehand. Since there was extremely little explanation on what a "sketch" was I just did what I use to do on my schoolwork except much bigger. I still consider it a sketch that happens to be colored with a pencil (my "complete" graphite pieces look very different from my entry), but I do understand why others are angry.

WOW That is hard! All so beautiful! ;o; --- Also. "Sketching" does in fact mean something drawn in pencil, it doesn't HAVE to be "unfinished". The dictionary meaning is a quick conceptual drawing but it has basically evolved now. Ever see those gorgeous drawings on the tins of "Sketching pencils"? Just congratulate the winners and try again next theme. c:

If all entrants get the SP + 3breeding coins, and I have not received mine for entering (despite the site telling me it was entered properly)...did you *get* my entry? O_o Or is it just that the 'consolation prizes' have not been handed out yet? I'm just curious now.

I'm sure they mean entrants as in the finalists.. xD At any rate, I think the whole argument about the sketch theme is sort of dumb... Because.. I mean yeah it was a little misleading but does it mean that you would have put TONS OF MORE time and energy into your entry if you didn't think you would get in because yours wasn't sketchy? I highly doubt it stopped anyone. These are all gorgeous entries and while I might disagree about perhaps one or two drawings being chosen over other submissions, I do not disagree that changing the description would have changed any of the finalists up there. They all worked very hard and a chance for THIS kind of opportunity to win such a great prize almost NEVER happens, and hell I wouldn't care if the statement was even MORE misleading, it's an amazing competition. If it was cared about that much and was so misleading to everyone, why not have asked before submitting? Hell if I was going to enter, I know I would have, and I definitely would have turned in a full-blown pencil drawing before a sketch for that kind of prize. :| Just...seriously, I know you were upset, but it's not like you wasted a TON of effort "sketching" something instead of wasted effort doing a full-blown piece of artwork, so it's not really necessary to get pissed off about it, IMO.

I am so jealous, I am honestly terrified to even try to enter the art gallery at all.
