I think alot of people are having a hard time choosing beterrn two, the results are reflecting that. I'm glad it didnt turn into a popularity contest. ^__^

I have to disagree that the winners were true sketches. Sketches are concept work, not fully shaded and highlighted pieces that look finished and complete.

The only chosen one that looks like a sketch is Pheonee's entry. No shading, no highlighting and even sketchy looking lines.

This is why I didn't enter. Not saying that the people who put in the effort didn't do great pieces for they really are wonderful but I don't think that the word "sketch" was properly used if this was what the staff was wanting as entries for this week.

I definitely think I agree here. Those entries are amazing, but.... not sketches.

@ FT: Yeah, I do wish they had elaborated a bit on the description. Unfortunately, sketch can mean structure seen and all that, or just a piece done by a traditional media such as these. It's confusing! >_< And I think it was, like, Friday when we did get a bit of explanation on it.

I just guessed what they meant and crossed my fingers that I was right. lol.

Virtually every entry was more or less finished with shading... you gotta handle what you HAVE, not what you don't!

Yeah i have to say those aren't sketches either.
We really need more details if this is the way things are gonna be.
Kinda pisses me off a little.

"Virtually every entry was more or less finished with shading... you gotta handle what you HAVE, not what you don't!"

Well if they aren't sketches then then shouldn't only ones that ARE be counted?

On a personal note, complaining only makes me want to not offer prizes like this anymore... no one wants that!
