We hired a genealogy expert alongside a counselor to correct the genus confusion that has plagued these four pets for quite some time. After taking some time to adjust to their new identities, it seems that all four are doing remarkably well!
"I knew something didn't seem quite right..."
If you don't like reading between the lines, we fixed the issue where the Shisa thought it was a Flux, the Sors thought it was an Orimi, the Lerna thought it was a Pet, and the Ryba thought it was a Gael. We were also able to update all existing pets with this problem.
If you have one of the above pets that somehow didn't get updated with our script, post here and I will fix it for you. You can also post there for general custom genus and species errors, of course.
If we missed any other site pets with genus/species confusion, make a thread in the Glitches forum and I will fix it.
Speaking of genus problems, Dawn Crystals used to be very hungry and would eat the genus right off of your pet if you updated it with one! We fixed this by enabling the genus drop-down on the item, so now you'll just have to make sure that if you're fixing up a Melo, you select Melo on the custom item screen.
Want to buy an item with charges but don't want to take the extra step of going inside the shop to make sure you're buying a fully charged one? The shop search results now display how many charges are intact for you!
Yesterday, I neglected to mention information on refunds for the pet locking glitch!
If your pet was wrongly locked due to this issue prior to the fix and you are still in need of a refund, simply PM me with a link to the glitch thread you posted in (or tell me you filed a report if you went that route), and I will see to it that you are reimbursed and your pet is unlocked. :3

Next week's bonus explore pets are the Gael, Insi, and Melo!
If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!
If you want to design some, go and post them in their respective threads here!
Last week I mentioned that The Little Pet Shop of Horrors had applied for a building permit. Well they have been approved! Starting July the pet shop pets will be removed and new pets will replace them! So be sure to get the pets in the store now before July comes!

I'll give you a hint: Good things happen when Yasu and I have a large block of time to work together.
If you guessed FIXES, you would be correct!
The issue with the birthday link yelling at you because you allegedly already claimed your gift for the year has been fixed! If you had a birthday prior to today, you will need to PM Visark (#185) for your Lunaris refund. However, if your birthday is today or any time after, the link should work correctly for you. Please make a thread in the Glitches forum if it does not!
There was a silly little auction bug that thought it was okay to allow to people to bid the same amount on the same item or pet. This has been fixed! Now, even if a user does not set a minimum increment, the bid you place must be higher than the current top bid. If you try to bid the same amount or lower, you will get an error.
We had some issues with commas not getting along with numbers. If you tried to deposit 10,000 BP, the comma would get very violent and cut off the last three zeroes. Obviously, this caused some problems at the bank and when pricing things in shops especially. You can now use commas without any problems! Even if you stick the comma in the wrong place, the number will be read correctly on all areas of the site.
Please note that due to how the system is set up, we had to update every section of input boxes. We think we got all of the areas (confirmed that the bank, auctions, user shops, site shops, search parameters, and relevant game boxes work), but if you notice a spot that we missed, please make a thread in the Glitches forum!

Some pets just really wanted to be locked from modification. Even if you said, "Nah, I think I changed my mind and want to leave my poor pet susceptible to random potions and zaps," by clicking "No," you still got docked 5 GP and had your pet locked anyway for such awful thoughts! Now you can choose the "no" option without fear of such repercussions!
A few users have been experiencing some unruly shops lately--shops that refused to let their owners change pet prices or remove them. We have added pagination to the pet section of user shops, which should remedy this problem. :)
I also want to give you a head's up on some upcoming things!
We know that there are a lot of lingering lair issues. These can be attributed to several culprits, but we are going to be making some changes that should help. We are planning to restore pagination options and implement a drag-and-drop sorting method as well as restructure lairs from the backend so that they don't generate so many queries.
Aggie, one of the coders who worked on Aywas a few months ago, is back for a little bit to implement some feature upgrades. His assignments include Quick Stock, more sorting options for the Inventory and Spenser's Trash Dump, further Aywapedia sorting, showing recent incoming Bank transfers, and Inbox search options. I will keep you posted on how these pan out!
Just for a little update on the server move, I wanted to let you guys know that Slash is waiting on some more information before going forward with it. Of course, we will be giving you plenty of warning and information ourselves before this takes place. :3
I also have one last tiny update! I've been working on revamping the Official Silver Artists page. It's nearly complete, I just have a few small tweaks to make and a couple more artists to add that I'm waiting on information from. I will make a news announcement when the page is all set to go. I hope you like the new look so far!
