The Custom Tokens in the Trash Shop have been given a serious price bump. I know price increases are never fun, but I think we can all agree that being able to get a pet with 75% edits for 1 GP isn't quite right.
And while I'm here, I'd like to remind everyone that glows, transparency, and clipped on accessories/clothing still count as edits, and thus are not allowed on Metals.

I'd also like to make sure everyone knows that the Personal Custom Queue now allows you to cancel your own pet submissions! If you submit an image only to realize you submitted the wrong image, had a white background, coloring errors, or any other mistake, you can cancel it yourself instead of having to PM me.

Because this has been inquired... no, your requested design doesn't have to be of a GCC species. It can be anything you want. Whether you happen to just want a gold level Xaoc to stare at or you want a gold level raw pet, it's up to you...

God we are so unloved and hated sawb sawb
Out of all the crystals bought from the GP Shop, the GCC is probably the most unloved, with SCCs and BCCs far more loved than them. As an experiment, I'd like to make a special offer (for the month, depending on how it goes): Gold Custom Crystals bought from the GP Shop will come with a free gold-level design.
You won't get full control of the complimentary design (to prevent it being stressful on the new GCC artist team) but you'll get to put some input into what kind of design you want by being offered this form to fill out:
Species:
Keyword: Just one word! Zombie, steampunk, space... anything you want.
2-3 Colors:
The new GCC team is excited to get working and I have a method to track GCCs bought from the GP Shop, so expect a PM in your inbox if you purchase a GCC, and I hope you enjoy your complimentary design. If you don't like your design, it's still yours so you can sell it if you want :)

Meteor Incoming!!

This meteor comes close to Ay every year in its travels. It seems like many species flock to this strange place during the week it is close and take on a strange appearance.
Welcome to The Lunar Meteor!
This is a very special region created by Michi (#716) through a prize voucher.
The Lunar Meteor will be near Ay only during the week of August 13th - August 20th, but it will come back each year. :) It is an open location, so anyone can access it!
(Yes, we're starting the star party a few hours early.)
It seems that strange spacey, astrological pets can be found around the meteor...
Though it is devoid of monsters, at least this time around.
There are also ten space-themed gatherables for you to collect!
Here's just a few that you'll find:
If you collect all ten, turn them in at the museum.
You will be rewarded with this shiny Star Ticket:
A Star Ticket is like the platinum class of Raffle Crystals.
At the end of the week, after the location closes and the collection retires, I will be holding a couple raffles for starry items, including a Bottled Starlight! How do you enter? Just have one of these tickets in your inventory (though you can sell yours if you want)!
Want to dress up your HA so that it looks a little more fitting for a starry scene?
The Seasonal Shop is now stocking ten HA items with a space theme!

A contract announcement...

Good evening ladies and gents! I have an announcement for you all, something to potentially spark some interest on the breeding end...
Cash contracts!
(disclaimer: Frey's not actually setting any money on fire, promise!)
Yes, Slash allocated some funds towards expanding the breeding team and making breedings go by faster. I have four slots left open for this after extending the option to folks currently on staff. This means I am looking for 3 LBC and 1 EBC person.
Terms of the contract are $100/week, 10 pairs. This means your work must be done in 7 days. We are testing to see if this is feasible in our budget so we cannot guarantee the long-term, so consider this a pilot program for our breeding extension. Once we see how funds can handle this, we'll see where we go from there. Testing phases have to come first!
But for now, we want to get some more applicants for those two positions! So if this interests you, scurry on over to the LBC application or you can check the BC application for the EBC position -- just make one baby per pair, and make two of the three as EVIL as you can! I want to see your nasty, gory, bloody abilities.
Send all applications to [email protected] and specify in your application that you're applying for contract. Hope to see those applications soon! As a note, you HAVE to be over 18 to apply for contracts.
