As we are experimenting with the mechanics of the Painted Metal Breeding Coin, we now have a new system to test out - unofficial breeding artists.
An unofficial breeding artist does work on commission for users with PMBCs and Painted Pens, and in turn gets paid by the site for their work. Please view the PMBC Shops section of the forums for information about this for artists and breeders.
Note that Painted Metal Breeding Coin breedings must have a Painted Pen attached to the breeding to utilize content from the PMBC shops.

Looking for fresh moderators!

Aywas is springing forward!
(We observe Daylight Saving Time, so you might've noticed that our clock jumped ahead one hour this weekend.)
In keeping with a month of green, we are officially looking to add more moderators to our ranks! :3 If you love Aywas and spend more hours logged in than you do sleeping, you just might be the person we're looking for! (I'm kidding, please get some rest; you don't want your application to be a mess of keyboard mashing after having fallen asleep on it.)
Here's how to apply:
- please fill out the application found here in its entirety.
- send the completed application to [email protected]
Please note that if you have applied any time since our last round of hiring, your application is on file for review. If you want to send in an updated application, though, that is perfectly acceptable.

This entry has information on our overall hiring process as well as answers to quite a few FAQs.
It is to your benefit to review the information presented there prior to applying. If you have any questions not answered in the article, feel free to drop me a note (please put something about "Mod App" in the subject line)!
The "deadline" to get your application in for this round of hiring is Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:59 p.m.
I will begin reviewing applications on the 25th and expect to make final hiring decisions in the beginning of April.

HA Background Elements!

The Nova Aura is a set of blue and purple "wisps" that sit behind your HA.
It's Legendary Rare and stocks in the Lovely Accessories shop.
By popular demand, we have also added a Pastel Clouds Wallpaper, which is a wearable version of the site theme. This item is AD and is now stocking in the Premium Outlet!
You can take a peek at both items by going to Preview Wardrobe. Take your time, both items are permanent additions. :3

The HA Monthly contest has run away from us a little after a slightly wonky February, so we've worked up a permanent schedule for the future months to ensure this doesn't happen again. Don't worry - I'll be making announcements for each thread, but for those that like to note it in your calendar, this is March's schedule:
Colouring Thread: March 10th
Colouring Vote: March 25th
Release: April 1st
Due to this change we'll be referring to this month's base and colouring as "April" (because that is when it will be released) and will change the thread titles so it's clearer.
Also, since the Valkyrie set was released later than anticipated it will be in shops until 11:59pm April 7th.
If you have any questions feel free to throw them my way - I'll try to clear up any confusion this has caused!

The winning HA sets have been placed into their respective shops!
For last month, the set in the GP Shop earned 237 GP per artist, the set in the BP Shop earned 84,300,000 BP per artist, and the set in the Premium Outlet earned 3728 PP per artist.
