Exotic Pet Palace Warning

"Hello everyone! I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up that I'll be changing the stock in my shop come April 27th! So if you want to own any of these pretty pets I currently am selling in the Exotic Pet Palace, you should buy them before April 27th. On April 27th, they will be permanently retired and new pets will take their place."

Spring Festival: Egg Field
Events
The Egg Field is now open!
For those those of you who may be new to our spring festivities, the Egg Field is where you may put an item or pet into an egg to deposit into the field so that you may try your luck choosing another egg to open! Everything you deposit and receive will be logged, but only for the duration of the event, so please be sure to note down and download anything you want to continue to have access to after the event ends!
Remember, as with all events where we allow you to input your own message, you must follow the Terms of Service - this includes not using any language or images that would require an M (Mature) tag. Please note that religion also falls under this tag. If you collect an egg that you feel breaks the rules, please report it to a member of staff.
Additionally, the Spring Festival submission threads will remain open until 11:59 PM AST on April 10th. You can view the following threads to submit pets, items, and clothing items!
If working on bases isn't your thing, but you are feeling in a creative mood, we also have a few contests open - with the first place prize being a PSD use of the lovely Spring Festival Teo! The contests include a story contest, coloring a paper egg, and coloring a digital egg. Please make sure to read the rules carefully when submitting!
As a reminder to anyone submitting or planning to submit any sets for Mayday, the deadline to turn in completed sets is May 12th!

The Monaku is currently the active Raw genus, which means that you can purchase the Paradise Monaku in the BP Shop! It will remain the active genus until May, so be sure to make a note of this in case you wish to make any!
The Spring Festival will begin in a few days, so be sure to limber up for when the egg field and other activities begin!

Holiday Breeding Coin (HBC) Changes
Site Update
Hi all! As many of you are aware, the Holiday Breeding Queue has been stagnant for a very long time. In the hopes to get the queue moving, we are introducing some changes to how the coin works.
- Any Holiday breeding where the parent rolled has no PSD or there is no functioning PSD available will roll a random Common, Uncommon, Raw, or Token genus. Breedings submitted before March 11 2022 can produce hybrids!
- The user can select up to three species for the artist to choose from. If there are no species listed or more than 3 are listed, the breeding will default to artist's choice.
- Holiday Fertility Potions will be refunded to the user if the parent base chosen has no available PSD.
Even if your breeding has PSDs available, you can still select up to three species for the artist to choose from. This is the best way to ensure that your breeding can be returned to you as soon as possible as it will be assigned to a BC artist!
These changes will go into effect on April 11 2022. They are retroactive and will apply to all Holiday Breeding Coins and Pendants current and future.
If you are wanting your breeding to function as a normal HBC, please make sure to have your PSDs working and attached. Additionally, please be prepared for an even longer wait time as breedings with genus changes will be delegated to artists who do not work on the Holiday Queue.
If you are looking to receive babies on the same lines as a no PSD parent, you will need to purchase predicts and source your own artist. Our artists will not be recreating PSDs for you. If you are looking to cancel a breeding, please refer to the Breeding Refund Thread.
This is also a reminder that if you are submitting predictions for HBC, they MUST be posted in the HBC Prediction Thread to be processed.

For ANY team, you may apply using examples of predictions you have created, or edited pets (in the case of edited coins) you have made in the past! You do NOT have to use the linked application if you do not want to!

Key Points:
-Breeding Coin artists edit hybrid bases for offspring
-Holiday Breeding Coin artists usually edit the bases of the two pets bred together
-Anywhere from 30%-75% edited
-Flexible deadline for lists
Don't want to colour your babies? That's fine! Breedings can be split between a baser and colorist. Payment is split 50/50.
