Episode One - Complete!

Discussion Hour enjoyed its first episode with Zave and Chimera. You can see the full episode here: click me.
If you only want to read Zave and Chimera's answers to the first seven pages, they answered on page3, page 10, page 15, page 21, page 25, page 28, page 31, and page 32.
Fifty-Four unique users commented within the first seven pages, of which Zave and Chimera answered. Eight prizes fell from the ceiling.

Winter Contest Results

Here are your long awaited results... but first, let me remind you of the prizes. The prizes are the same for each contest.
First Place: 20 GP -or- 4 SP
Second Place: 15 GP -or- 3 SP
Third Place: 10 GP -or- 2 SP
Prize Pot: Custom Hybrid Crystal, Custom Xaoc, Blue Custom Orb

Art contest
First Place: Vampy (#707)
I love this piece because, first, Rogue and Maron are so adorable. Second, I LOVE the way she drew that Melo. xD And third, the background is awesome... I love the little touch where you can see the bridge but it's covered in snow.
Second Place: Skitty (#543)
Aside from the fact that this is hilarious... and the look on his face is funny... I really love the way this was colored. If it's traditional media it looks AWESOME, and if it's digital it looks like traditional media which is also awesome XD I just love the way this is colored, the colors are so vibrant.
Third Place: God (#49)
I had a tough time choosing between this one and his other one, but this one took the cake... heck it took the whole bakery XD The idea of the vampire and the zombie together, lol, that's just so cute. Not to mention I LOVE how the melo is drawn, especially that little paw on Sunny's arm <3
Writing contest

I could not stop laughing during reading this. I even showed my friend some parts of it because it kept cracking me up. xD She thought it was hilarious too. It's a really great story <3 I also loved how it tied in the christmas image at the end.

Again, this one was HILARIOUS and it was very well written. I loved the way she represented the NPCs. For the most part they were spot on <3 It was a real pleasure to read.

I liked first that she knew Rogue is always so depressed without Maron around. xD Second, I really liked the ending where they spend time with a homeless guy because that's what Xmas is about <3 spreading cheer.

Hybrid Custom Contest Results

If one of these lovely beauties was your contest submission for the Hybrid Custom Contest then you are a winner! For the rest of you who are curious enough to know who submitted these lovely entries they were put in by Dew (#17), Feyani (#9), Magnus Vale (#256), Keh (#447), and Ros (#1055) respectively.
BUTWAITWAIT ... because i'm so nice and Slash might smack me for this, I want to award some honorable mentions since this contest was freakin' hard to judge and Slash and I had to have some debates. These following entries will each receive a blue custom crystal from my own pocket. It's not a hybrid but hey, it's still a custom and it'll still be awesome. PET MARRIAGE!
That's right! Pets can marry each other now! ^_^ You just need an engagement ring, which you can get in the VDP shop!

What does marriage do?
- The two pets can ONLY breed to each other
- The pets will get an additional offspring every time they breed!
- The pets' mate will display on their profile!
Any two pets can marry!

FYI:
- The shop will close on the 15th at midnight (that means, night time on Sunday)
- You may not use Metal Crystals to submit Vday reves after midnight on the 17th (again, night time on 16th)
- Your Vday Reve does not have to be VDay colored. It cannot have lineart edits.

Dawn Crystal

On the 13th of February it has so been decreed that the Dawn Crystal has other uses. Not only is it a tool through which one can utilize older or newer linearts, but in addition it can be used to make touchups to customs. Forgot to include the transparent background? Use a Dawn Crystal. That stray pixel bugging you? Use a Dawn Crystal. Hate the way you drew the hair? Use a Dawn Crystal.
Residents of Ay be warned, however, that you can only use a dawn crystal to change one aspect of an image - lineart, fix background, stray pixel, change ONE edit, etc. This does not give you license to redraw all 500 custom edits to your image.

Alt Colors

The alt_Griffin and alt_Quetzal linearts are accepting colors. Please note that for the Quetzal, you can only submit colors that are available for the Melo or Soli, and must follow the Melo or Soli pattern as closely as possible. For the Griffin, it must be available for the Melo or Reve.

Auctions and Zapping

From now on if you put up a pet for auction and while it's still currently up for auction you decide you want to zap/potion/rock it and it turns into a pet you actually want to keep, then you're just going to have to wait and hope for the auction to end and nobody bids. I will not be removing these pets from auctions anymore. Please think twice about which pets you're putting up for sale and which pets you want to keep for experiments.
