Site Update
So, it looks like I can't go have dinner with a friend without shenanigans going on. :p
Aside from what you already know, with the combined efforts of the Aywas programmer and the Felisfire programmer (and lots of Eri too!), we've tracked down some very specific data regarding the individual who got into my account.
That information was forwarded to the host who owns the server it originated from - and they will be getting back to us soon regarding what information we can send to the authorities.
I'll keep you updated, if you're curious how this situation plans out. If I can get the right information, I will press charges on behalf of the site for hacking and myself and all of you, who experienced stress from this.
Our move to a new server tomorrow will be commencing as well.

seems ED loves screwing with other people and sites for "lulz", i don't find it funny at all. from the bits and pieces i've seen and heard about the site, i have no plans on going to it IF and WHEN it ever comes back up. all i see is them trying to rain misfortune on sites that are doing way better and is well liked.

Chiki-- ED doesn't really screw with anyone. It just logs events in an amusing (though sometimes cruel) manner. It's more like a history or encyclopedia page... The site itself doesn't actually arrange anything.

i don't like ED at all, from what i've been hearing about it. finding yourself the target of who knows how many trolls because someone posted your work without permission is not funny.

Oops, sorry about repost. My browser is a jerk. But really, the fact that Aywas often tells people to visit Felisfire probably isn't common knowledge outside of the site. My guess is that this is an angry user punishing the site for doing something they didn't like... Or a friend/partner of a user who doesn't like that it's sucking up their life. Updating ED is easy... but hacking Aywas not so much.
