So, it looks like I can't go have dinner with a friend without shenanigans going on. :p
Aside from what you already know, with the combined efforts of the Aywas programmer and the Felisfire programmer (and lots of Eri too!), we've tracked down some very specific data regarding the individual who got into my account.
That information was forwarded to the host who owns the server it originated from - and they will be getting back to us soon regarding what information we can send to the authorities.
I'll keep you updated, if you're curious how this situation plans out. If I can get the right information, I will press charges on behalf of the site for hacking and myself and all of you, who experienced stress from this.
Our move to a new server tomorrow will be commencing as well.

I'm just glad that this was sorted out quickly, and that we have people like our programmers and Eri to swoop in and save us. I certainly hope that something can be done about the hacker, and hope they feel the full extent of the law. :) Hacking is a big no no, so here's hoping! *orders you lots of take out, so you may try to enjoy dinner in your own home.... glued to your computer ;-;*

Good. I hope you're able to press charges on whoever did this-- and I hope that justice is served. This was a really terrible thing for someone to do to the site-- even with people who knew that it was a hacker, there was still a lot of mass panic. ~Elijah

Jeeze.. I mean, it was awful, but hopefully nothing horrible happens to the person. I mean, they didn't really do anything harmful other than scare the sh-t out of people, did they? Some punishment, yes.. depending on how old, of course. I may just be too soft sometimes. They do need to learn their lesson regardless. Glad to see you back, and hopefully your night out wasn't totally ruined! Look forward to the new server, hopefully Aywas will finally speed up to its normal stuff.

I had to visit /b/ to see if they had anything to do with it. Didn't see anything. So... probably not Anon unless Ebaums actually did something instead of just taking /b/'s credit.
