Earthquake!

Site Update

There was an earthquake!

Where is it? In real life - and it affected Japan and the neighboring areas. Donate $25.00 or more to any charity of your choice to help Japan and those who were affected, then send the receipt to me via email along with your aywas ID - [email protected] - and you will receive a Fossil Egg.

Here's a few possible places you can donate.

Even if you can't donate the full amount, please try to donate something - if you donate $10 or more, you are eligible for an onsite (virtual item) Kaz Plush. Whatever you do have the ability to donate will help a lot of people, no matter the amount!

Is there a relief fund that accepts Paypal? I can't afford any money that's on my debit card, nor can I port any extra from my savings from my savings this month due to this new 'rule' at my bank. I have a chunk of money tied up in Paypal that I could donate easy...

Watching the news coverage of the tsunami was so disturbing it felt unreal. The magnitude of the damage is hard to comprehend. I'm glad I was able to make a donation even though it isn't much. Thank you for linking to organizations that are helping, sometimes it's hard to know where to go to help.

Natto-rin, I thought I saw somebody somewhere in the first three pages say they found someone who took Pay-Pal. Sorry I can't be more specific.

A friend of mine is honeymooning is/was honeymooning in Hawaii when the resulting tsunami hit there today/yesterday. >> Wish I could donate, but we're a bit strapped for cash this month. Sorry!

Im so glad that Aywas is doing something to help! One of my best friends has family out there and is really worried about them, and i am too. I really hope they contact her soon and that they are safe. Ive just woken up to seeing this news post and i shall donate immediately, though id already donated at one of our local stores that were collecting yesterday, but its so nice to know Aywas are doing a bit to help. Thank you! Its so wonderful that so many people on here are donating to help them!
I went to Japan on holiday last year and was planning to go back next month, but it fell through :( Im not sure if im glad or not :/

If I wasn't getting so few hours that I can barely meet my monthly bills I'd help! Maybe later on after things settle down there might be other ways we can help out, clothes, bedding basic med supplies or something hopefully.

And what's scary to me is states that NEVER had tsunami warnings before now have them...
