Instead of explore pets, I have some different pets for you to contemplate...
Back in June we ran a contest where people could submit colorations on alternate hybrid linearts. The idea for the pets was dropped but the images are still so pretty D=
And a Vion, because... pretty images never being used! D=
So I figured out a different way to release them!
How do you get them, you might ask? Well... there are a bunch of items you seem to hate...
Annoying Item Bazaar
Trade in those annoying items!
Now that there are more than just the Cheetah Quetzal released, here's how the alt hybrids will work. There will be others released in time, so...
You can breed them to anything with a Breeding Coin (same as any pet), but if you want to use a same-species coin on them, you can only breed them to an alt hybrid of their same species (so the lineart has to match). You can't make customs of them at this time.

EDIT: Tweaked the prices in the shop based on the amount that exist on the site =D

You won a total of 25,000 BP! The total has been added to your account and the game will now restart.
This isn't meant to be bragging but more to prove my point from earlier. I spent about 2k - 3k playing bones and just won the jackpot. While you're not guaranteed to win every few k spent it doesn't mean you won't.
I can respect that, I'm gone from 11 a.m - 11:30ish p.m aywas time all week. I still don't think it's fair though. You get what you put into the game. Exploring and bones is a majority of what I do so maybe I'm just being one sided on this.

Well, I'd like to not chance it. Bones has never been kind to me. And I am taking the time. I'm earning cash from explore to buy some aloe without spending what I owe the artist. And the only reason I'm complaining is because I love the pet so much. I need to get that vion, and I would have been so much closer to it the items were able to be sent properly. I already spent a bunch of cash buying 200 from the user stores.
And just because you're having luck on bones doesn't mean I will. Seriously, it's luck, not a given thing. :/

A good idea to get rid of extra items but its really unfair to users who don't hoard. We are left trying to buy over priced junk in the hopes of getting just one pet.
