Anyway, so someone asked what a re-inked melo (as opposed to redrawn) would look like, so we produced this.
Which do you like better? I'm fairly ambivalent either way.

Second one by far, it seems like such an improvement to me.
I actually prefer the current melo to the re-inked one, but the re-drawn one is perfect imo. The shading is much softer and it just looks nicer overall c:
I agree that the re-inked one's eyes look very creepy to me, as well as the mouth.

Hmm....the more I look at it, the more the neck on the first one is starting to bug me. xD Maybe if the reink is chosen that could be changed a little?

The second one just looks too ...fat to me. But if it does get chosen I think the cheek, belly and tail would need to be changed :P

Put the tail and ears of #2 onto the body of #1 and you've got a winner. #1 doesn't look like anything changed from the current Melo :(

It's hard to choose. D;
I like them both, but I prefer the first just because the head position/size looks more balanced. However I love the tail and ear fluff from the second. The paws on the second are better too. If there was some way to combine them it'd be perfect. xD

I like the first one just Not the ears it's so hard to tell whats ear and whats ear fluf.
