Anyway, so someone asked what a re-inked melo (as opposed to redrawn) would look like, so we produced this.
Which do you like better? I'm fairly ambivalent either way.

So yes, I like the re-ink much much better... bet yes, it is a tad over shaded and the neck seems just a tad small. But that's just me... I still like the re-ink tons more.

The shading on the reink is backwards in some places [especially the tail], and the expression is kinda...stare-into-your-soul creepy.

I like both; I'd be leaning toward the re-ink if it weren't for the eyes. They look a little odd somehow...

second one. It just looks way, way better. the ears and tail on the first/old lineart just always bugged me too.

I find the re-draw's face too feminine. The re-ink's is just about right. And the eyes on most of the bases look blank before they get a bit of colour in them, it's always been that way XD As I've said and will keep saying, the front legs on the first need to be bought down a few pixels, but maybe that's just me (doesn't stop me harping on though XD)

Hmm....the more I look at it, the more the neck on the first one is starting to bug me. xD Maybe if the reink is chosen that could be changed a little?
