More Melo Madness!
Anyway, so someone asked what a re-inked melo (as opposed to redrawn) would look like, so we produced this.
Which do you like better? I'm fairly ambivalent either way.

Personally i dislike them both.
the first is the better of the two, although its front legs seem quite a lot shorter than its back legs, and the relining of its face seems to have destroyed its soul.
the second is okay i suppose, but its head is too large, eyes are too far apart and overall it seems too chubby/lumpy...
Also it would have been rather nice to see such a community effort go into the other pets, rather than to just have the redraws forced upon us with no opinions presented in advance. Popularity is just a bit lame like that, since i am rather fond of other species and yet had absolutely no input to their redraws (:

FIRST ONE by far. I love, love love the old Melo and the only things I ever saw wrong with it were the eyes and the neck and the shading, and those are all fixed now. Soo....
Although I voted the second one to start with because I was fairly certain that it was just between 2 different shading styles D: Woops...
