A user run event brought to you by the crew of Community Auction Day and Holiday Pet Exchange!
The Artist Festival is a way to celebrate and get involved with the artists on Aywas!
Select artists were invited to stream the creation of bases or colorations to share with the userbase.
These bases will all be available and free to use at the conclusion of the Festival, and some free colorations may be created for those attending streams!
The Artists will be streaming via the Aywas Discord!
The stream schedule can be found in this thread, along with additional information about the Artist Festival!
There will be over 20 streams available so we hope to see you there!

Not keen on how much the "unofficial" Discord keeps getting promoted on-site, but it is what it is. Shame I left just today.

For the record, the reason I'm not keen on it is because it directs traffic and chatter away from the site and forums, which very much need it.

hi sevryn- the event organizers actually reached out to the discord staff to get approval to use the discord as we found it to be more useful than a streaming site. <3 we asked slashbot to link to the discord in our event newspost so that it could be easily found by users for the event.

Fair enough. I suppose the activity problem partly lies in the site itself, but that's another can of worms. I just can't promote the Discord in good faith to anyone, really.

the discord is the aywas affiliated discord, so it's also technically not unofficial which i think is cool! it helps remedy the site slowness, as you mentioned. :) the discord is also in part run by site staff so they do keep to high standards of moderation and caring about their users! <3 i do hope at some point you do come back to enjoy this event with our artists though!

Super excited for this and keen! I think it is important to have discord activity especially because it is an instant messaging format and lets you get a lot closer to people than you would on forums. I feel like if we didn’t have much discord activity we would still not have forum activity anyway so I am happy we have people working on community spirit. The site has been so much more lively since!

I for one absolutely love the discord. I've gotten to know so many awesome people that I'd be otherwise way too intimidated to even speak to and make new friends. Not to mention the easy as heck advertisement and fun events.
