We will also be collecting pet PSDs directly from the thread, so please make sure you keep the links active for two weeks (at least until mid-October) so we have time to snag 'em!
The beautiful Swan inspired Essence of October 2017 can be found in the GP shop and will turn your active pet into one of the random colorations from the GP/BP shops from this month!
The Swan Lunaris has gracefully arrived to celebrate the birthdays of those born in October! It is known to be aggressively protective, however, so be careful of rough-housing at any birthday parties.
This month we have a special Premium Item! When used the Totally Not Evil Candy will give you a few pieces of candy every few minutes as long as you are online! This Spell will last the entire month of October! But wait, that's not all~ It will also unlock the forum title: Totally Not Evil!

As you have noticed, Halloween Events have started! You can find the Halloween Hub located under the Community Tab in the top toolbar!
For now the Pumpkin Patch and Trick or Treating are active! As many of you have guessed we do have a bit more in store for Trick or Treating, as well as the main Halloween activities, we're just working on some final preparations for the event!
Please don't forget to visit the Advent Calender every day of October for a free goodie, today Greta has been unusually kind and is giving everyone 50 pieces of candy from her massive pile! Maybe we were wrong about her all this time.

A few small updates, due to my inability to check PM's every day I am changing how the Black Friday sets are being processed. If you are interested in submitting some sets, please send in all the sketches! We will go through them all and approve more than one at a time so that you are not being hindered by my delays.
Which brings me to the second point:
You have one week to collect your PSDs from Mayday!
After this week we will empty the pot so that we can begin stocking for Mayday so make sure you double and triple check that you have downloaded your psds! Once they are removed we won't host them anymore.
One final note of interest, I have just left my job of 7 years and am starting a new full time job. As such I will try to answer all PM's on the weekend, as I try to adjust to this new schedule. I have never had this type of job, so it will be a long bit of a learning curve so please try to be patient with me!

Ellory (#804) They won't be involved in the monthly posts as they are manned by another member of staff. We are currently having severe lack of entries in the other contests so staff has been trying to discuss different ways to go about doing them or cancelling them all in general.

That's true, I just worry. I'm sure if it's put to other things it could turn out fine. But some things such as monthly clothing I fear would have lasting impact to be removed too. Hard to say until it happens though tbh.

Ah, that's a shame. I'd hope that at least the ones with entries wouldn't be cancelled, but would understand if it's just no one's entering anymore :( Maybe in that case I'll try and collect prizes and host one in the contests forum :o
But yeah, not going to fault staff if that's what needs to happen to focus manpower elsewhere. That makes sense to me. Sad, but makes sense.
