Good evening everyone! I am going to preface this with that I have been uploading Teos, Oets, Snoodles, and Faux to the May Day Pot for about the past 12 hours, so my brain is pudding, but I am going to try to be as clear as I can!
This is your pre-May Day notice! The sale begins Thursday, May 25th at 11:00 PM AST! The way this works for those of you who are new or just don't remember, we use a special sort of USD Credit that only gets added to your account if you buy it within the sale time! Any USD purchases of Items or GP outside of that time will go to the "Normal" credit, which will not be able to be used until the last day. So make sure that you do all purchases after 11:00 PM Aywas time.
That being said, you will have one hour to do your buying before the real crazy time starts! At midnight, one hour after the sale begins, the Glowing Teo Egg will usable! Collect it beforehand with the Collect Bonus tiers!
You then use your Glowing Teo Egg in the May Day Pot to grab one of the custom Exotic species! It is first come first serve, so make sure you do some window shopping and get your chosen lined up, and make sure that your lair has enough free space.
As a personal note, it has been an absolute pleasure working with all of you and watching each of you grow with each set, but then on that same note it is killing me on the inside, because wow, there are some amazing sets, and I just want them all!
And now onto the timetable for this weekend!

We are continuing with the Top Spenders Prize! Winners can choose their prize! You can choose from the Future Custom feature (this allows you to submit 1 50% custom of any Site Species that gets released), or a Xaoc Totem!

Yep, so this is basically the ultimate money grabbing event. Much as I have come to love Aywas, I can't deny that this is easily one of the greediest money sucking sites out there. But no worries, I know it costs a lot to maintain a site like this without ads.

Aurelian (#71991) Well those sure are some harsh words o.0 I see this event as more of an opportunity, as an artist. Getting over $300+ for art has been a HUGE help financially for me, since art is my only income. You don't /have/ to spend money, yknow. No need to be so negative!

Well, no offense, but seeing as I can't draw/paint/do art to save my life, there is no opportunities here for me.
Also, and I know I will get a ton of flack for this, but I do NOT see an internet website as a viable employer/carreer. Maybe I'm just old school, but all those people with Patreon and other online donation services that say they are their ONLY source of income drive me insane. More then anything, donations are NOT wages. They are gifts of support.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just an old fashion hard-ass used to hard physical work for steady wages, not this "commision" stuff. Nothing personal

Nobody was born with art skills! It takes time. I guarantee, if you start drawing now and keep it up, by next Mayday you could make beautiful pet sets.
I don't make my money from ~donation~ sites, I make it by WORKING. I work(draw) for 6-8 hours a day, every day. I don't take days off. Even people who make their living from Patreon still earn their wages. I'm sorry you don't see it that way. I'm not a citizen in the country I'm currently living in(yet) so I'm literally unable to get a ""real"" job(as you call it). My work permit form has been pending for almost 6 months now.
I'm sorry you don't see art as a real job. I promise if you tried it, you'd realize how wrong you are. But you'd rather be stubborn and complain instead of actually trying things.
