Good Afternoon everyone! Popping in with a few small updates! First I am announcing the winner of the first Decorate an Aymas Tree contest!

1st Place: Gallifreya (#53356) winner of either a Scaled Seedling or Vion Planter please PM me for youor prize!
2nd Place: Mersang (#20205) winner of a Bottled Starlight
3rd Place: Saphire & Lassombra (#407) winner of a Platinum Breeding coin

Congratulations to all winners! How did you all like the way voting was handled? We know there was a crazy amount of Aymas trees (well over 400!) but is this something you would like to see for the HA contest?

Next matter of business, remember the Edit a Soluss contest from several months ago? Well the original "Raffle Ticket" for it was going to be the fauna Smoluss, unfortunately I had uploaded those with the Halloween items and now there is actually several hundred on site! So we have created a new ticket, the Soluss ticket, all of our entrants will receive 1 raffle ticket + 1 smoluss depending on how highly edited their design was. This weekend we will host a small handful of raffles so the contest participants can actually choose which raffles they participate in, rather than keeping everything secretive!

Also remember the Seasonal Shop closes tonight! So make sure you spend your Candy Canes and Snowflakes!

I have had a few people ask me if we will be doing raffles for extra snowballs, at this moment I don't have an answer for that as we still have to wrap up the Gingerbread Event and Bingo as well, so perhaps afterwords.

I didn't like the tree voting system, because I couldn't compare to select what I liked best; and the quantity was just overwhelming. I didn't know it reset daily and I would have died of shock if I did know.

However anonymity for the HA contest would be good - I always go through them all if I vote, but it does seem that the same people win most times.
And definitely only one vote per HA or one vote only for your favourite.

I have a question about soliciting, is that asking random people for votes or does it include friends? Also you are able to vote for yourself; is that soliciting?

Idk if this is gonna be worthy of a slap of "be patient" lmao but 🎁❄Kaiyo❄⛄ (#489) - When is are the monthly HA sets going to be released from their cages to the shops? o; The current set has been in for over 40 days now~

This is so exciting! I've never one one of these online contests before! (A voting one, I mean, not a 'you were in the top ten high scores' one.)

The top three trees were all pretty! They were some of my favorites. A lot of the other trees that I saw when I voted were really great too.

I too like the anonymity and no soliciting of this type of voting. HOWEVER - and I don't know if this' ever been a problem in the current HA contest, so it may be irrelevant - I'd like to make SURE the clothing layers and so on stay where they should be, as many of the trees suffered from items being moved around, thereby resulting in a less-than-pleasing result; I'm sure I lost a lot of votes due to items not staying put, :-(

I'd take a "smoluss" with my raffle ticket..! But what's the difference between a Soluss and a Smoluss, anyways..? (Lmfao... this was 90% sarcasm, for those who might be concerned.. :P )

Being able to vote for more than only 1 HA is a really great idea! But as someone have said before - it'd be nice to see all entries at once to compare which HA I like more <-- I think, comparing before voting is rly important, that's the plus of the current HA voting system 030

Most of the time I'm just missing weekly rollover (when HA contestants change and new voting starts) and forget HA contest exists, I'd really really love it if there was some system-reminder-notification to warn me each time it starts 0x0''''
"Hey, it's new trivia/HA contest, care to vote/join?" X'D

btw, idk how to fully implement that "anon entry" thing (people still gonna advertise their HA in signatures and that'd deanon them. Avatar can be saved as image and have a link to voting room, or mb other ways around, so idk about that).
tbh I don't care about popularity, if I could vote for more than 1 HA I'd just vote up those HA I like (especially if there's few and you cannot decide on one), I think that'd increased chances of "not so popular" players to win too X3

I've never kept track of who wins the HA contests since it doesn't seem to be recorded anywhere, and I always look through all entries before voting, so I have no idea how much of a "popularity contest" it is... But that said, I think a system where we could vote up for all entries we like, would be nice. And I wouild like to see some sort of notice on who won the preceeding contest if only as a link on the contest page and not in the news. I don't tend to look in on the contest 5 minutes before midnight on sunday...

Yes for the HA. They would all get a fair share in votes. All at least fairer.
