Staff have recently been inundated with requests for thread deletions, most often when an account is being sold/moved into. This is creating an unsustainable workload that is impacting other areas of the site.
Due to this we are now formally restricting thread removals to one year old or less from the time of the last post. For example, from today, threads last posted in before July 14th 2014 will no longer be removed from accounts.
Users posting in threads they want deleted to bring them within the time limit will receive a formal warning against their account.

Tequila Mockingbird (#64472) I think Eri gets paid a little bit? But the general mods, no, pretty sure they explicitly said they were volunteer-only positions on the last mod apps post, though I don't have it to hand.

Nevermind. I misremembered whom said what pretty much by the time I finished reading all the comments (and then going to write mine). lmao. The user comment that got me confused (apparently) *was* by someone /relatively new/ (around "my time" I guess) so they probably just didn't know. oops. lol. On that note, it is really none of my business who gets paid so no need to get proof or anything, I belief you due to me only saying anything because I was baffled about (regular) mods being paid. So i'm more likely to beleive I got confuzzled than to think you are wrong. As I'll just go with what makes more sense to em?? (I was mentioning stuff for the sake of a plausible solution and due to be so stunned at the thought of paid forums peoples because I've seen that almost never. admins are a different story though in some cases.) I'd think being an admin would different than being a mod though and I think Eri is an admin of some sort rather than a mod?? Maybe the people person if that makes sense. There is a official word for it and many large or large-ish sites have on.. like a liaison connecting the site to the public. Hence doing things like the monthly news post and so on. argh. this will bother me. Dx
