Cash Auctions - Liquidation

Pets

It is with a heavy heart that Aywas brings you the opportunity to participate in the cash auctions of hundreds of custom pets. The reason for this is that the previous owner of the pets has caused us to fall nearly $5000 in debt due to chargebacks. I have a rant thread that goes into some detail regarding the situation.

We have to seek out a way to make ourselves whole for the damage done to us--both in terms of money lost and potential damage to the good standing of our payments account. As you can understand, if the chargebacks (which now number over a hundred in the past two months from this one individual) cause us to lose our payment accounts, that would be devastating. A high number of chargebacks can cause payment processors to cancel accounts with a company due to high risk.

Our PayPal account is not currently affected by this problem, but I have no idea if the volume of chargebacks on Amazon Payments could affect it in the future.

The USD Auctions page reflects all of the custom pets that we have decided to reclaim from the player who filed the chargebacks. You can pledge a bid on the pet by entering an amount and an invoice e-mail address.

Please note:

1. Bids made through USD auctions cannot be canceled.

2. Please place a bid only if you are committed to buying the pet if you win it.

3. Pets come "as is" as we have no idea what rules may have been placed on them. We will help mediate any issues between the new owner and any previous owners.

4. We would prefer accepting payment on our Amazon Payments account to prevent the delinquent account (it's in the negative) from being sent to collections and/or legal action taken against us for not having the disputed funds. If it cannot be paid through this, we will accept PayPal.

5. All auctions end in approximately seven days. End dates are listed on the auctions themselves.

6. When the auctions are over, your total bill (all your auctions won) will be invoiced to you. Upon successful payment, all pets won will be placed into your lair.

Some highlights below:

It is not a usual thing for Aywas to take repossession of pets on a banned account. This situation is unique, grave, and we hope will not have to be repeated in the future. Ultimately, we appreciate any support, because this is one of the worst situations we have found ourselves in.

As a final note, any comments making threats toward the individual who filed the chargeback will be removed without notice. This happened on tumblr before and it will not be permitted here. Believe me, I am just as angry as you are, but threats will only make things worse, and they cannot be tolerated.

Also wondering about psds. I feel like the older ones will not have psds(so no breeding functionality?) but the teos, hybrids will because the original artists/prev. owners are likely to be on site and have the psds.

Also...you could try auctioning off prev. banned account pets if this fundraiser won't make 5k. It's obv. going to be the teos/hybrids that will pull in most of the cash. I think people would be interested in that as well.

There's a thread in Aywas Talk about people who are gathering who have PSDs to give to the new owners.

Horrible situation :/ I saw a Jiao though, I must have it. I'll have to figure out how exactly paying from the UK works now, i only had a quick browse through the article about it before since it seemed like more trouble that it was worth, but jiao D: need.

It was shadow?! I didn't know that till I started looking through the pets ;_; wow. So many psds I will never get...also, I have proof via a message thread on the rules for her violinn, Lovecraft? She had told me it would have unlimited free breedings, and I've been saving for months to pbc it, and I'm gonna be really sad if I'm not able to do so when the new owner gets it v_v I had emotional attachments to quite a few of her pets, it's a huge bummer I can't buy any....

Tali (#138) I believe that since an invoice is sent it counts as a manual transaction, much like a USD shop invoice.

If I could use either I would definitely try to get a couple.

That is an awful situation! Sorry that happened, why on Earth would they charge back twice? If they bought something they should keep it and cut the losses, if it was gonna be an issue they shouldn't have bought the stuff to begin with.

I'll see how the auctions are looking on Thursday when I get paid, I may try to enter, although with my luck I probably won't be able to get anything, not so good at bidding ^^; I hope this helps get your money back!

BTW, I'm sure that if you did decide to sell customs from banned accounts in the future people would be happy to buy them, just to raise extra money for the site, just a suggestion X3

Yes, because many of us can only go *grabby hands* at pets on banned accounts(if they show up *has no idea*). Plus so much work into some customs, seems a waste! *totally sees no downside*

BTW, question, are you still adding pets or do pets just get bumped to the first page every time a bid is made on them?
