Cash Auctions - Liquidation

Pets

It is with a heavy heart that Aywas brings you the opportunity to participate in the cash auctions of hundreds of custom pets. The reason for this is that the previous owner of the pets has caused us to fall nearly $5000 in debt due to chargebacks. I have a rant thread that goes into some detail regarding the situation.

We have to seek out a way to make ourselves whole for the damage done to us--both in terms of money lost and potential damage to the good standing of our payments account. As you can understand, if the chargebacks (which now number over a hundred in the past two months from this one individual) cause us to lose our payment accounts, that would be devastating. A high number of chargebacks can cause payment processors to cancel accounts with a company due to high risk.

Our PayPal account is not currently affected by this problem, but I have no idea if the volume of chargebacks on Amazon Payments could affect it in the future.

The USD Auctions page reflects all of the custom pets that we have decided to reclaim from the player who filed the chargebacks. You can pledge a bid on the pet by entering an amount and an invoice e-mail address.

Please note:

1. Bids made through USD auctions cannot be canceled.

2. Please place a bid only if you are committed to buying the pet if you win it.

3. Pets come "as is" as we have no idea what rules may have been placed on them. We will help mediate any issues between the new owner and any previous owners.

4. We would prefer accepting payment on our Amazon Payments account to prevent the delinquent account (it's in the negative) from being sent to collections and/or legal action taken against us for not having the disputed funds. If it cannot be paid through this, we will accept PayPal.

5. All auctions end in approximately seven days. End dates are listed on the auctions themselves.

6. When the auctions are over, your total bill (all your auctions won) will be invoiced to you. Upon successful payment, all pets won will be placed into your lair.

Some highlights below:

It is not a usual thing for Aywas to take repossession of pets on a banned account. This situation is unique, grave, and we hope will not have to be repeated in the future. Ultimately, we appreciate any support, because this is one of the worst situations we have found ourselves in.

As a final note, any comments making threats toward the individual who filed the chargeback will be removed without notice. This happened on tumblr before and it will not be permitted here. Believe me, I am just as angry as you are, but threats will only make things worse, and they cannot be tolerated.

What if someone doesn't have a paypal account, though?

That's a lot of pets to sift through. Would it be feasable to put the sort by genus feature on the usd auction page?

J.A.K. (#15) the outbid notifications are not working. They show up blank.

you can sign up for a paypal account within a day or two, the long part is authorizing an account on it. Plenty of time for the about a week long auction.

That's horrible. Though on a lighter side, here I am with no money. Gratz to all who win the auctions and hope the site can get the money that they lost back.

J.A.K. (#15) sorry again for the ping, but will items and the account itself be auctioned off? You should do that as well for other perma banned accounts to help with the money situation.

Tala ∞ Chess (#67) Auctioning off the items would probably be far too much work right now amidst all of this.
