We decided to compromise between both. We'll update a few new explore pets on Saturday (3-5), and twice as many (around 8-10) around the Saturday nearest the 15th.
That means, on the 18th of this month you'll get 8-10 pets. But today you're getting 4. :)

Hey all, just a small note. If you get your recolor of a pet accepted, your Fauna art accepted, your monthly pet is chosen, or anything else related to official site pets/etc. please send the .psd files to [email protected], not the email for breedings. Remember, send only ones that have edits for site pets, not ones that are simple recolors.
I think fauna especially have been redirected to me, and it's swamping the email, detracting from me finding your actual custom/breeding .psds. xD Thanks guys!

Insi update completed!

I have completed the Insi revamp.
You have a month's grace period to:
- have a site pet changed back to the old lineart for free (please contact Visark (#185));
- submit customs using the old lineart.
On October 3rd this grace period will end. Don't forget that old and new lineart Insis can breed to each other with LBCs fine, but that they will produce new lineart insi babies.
Hope you like the recolors! Also, I posed this question on the forums, but I'll ask it here too:
How often would you like us to release explore pets?
The general consensus seems to be either once a month (on the 15th, perhaps) with a lot of pets, or every Saturday with 3-5 new explore pets. Which do you prefer?

Fauna
New Feature
Once you get hold of a fauna, attach it to your active pet and start battling for levels at the fauna battle page!
If the notifications get annoying, you can turn them off here.
We should have a high scores list for Fauna by exp/level in a bit! Have fun collecting them (: There's a lot out there, and more coming soon.

Melo Redraw
It looks like we're going to be having a revamp, so we're going to be working on sketches to present before we have any lineart. (:
I have a brief question for you, though, out of curiosity.

I'm so out of ideas right now. What kind of premium item would you like to have this month? (: I'll choose a reasonable suggestion from this news post and make it happen! If your suggestion is chosen, you get a copy, whether you're a premium member or not (so you'd get a second one if you are).

Melo Redraw?

Sketch!
The Melo is the only remaining pet from the old art. The art itself is three years old, and has many proportion flaws.
An update would consist of:
- all new colorations occurring on the new melo base
- old lineart can be submitted for two months past the revamp completion without requiring Dawn Crystal
- existing customs have a 6-month period to convert to the new base for free
- old and new can breed together fine with LBC, where old x old = old, but old x new = new, as with all other revamps we've done
A revamp would take 1-3 months for us to complete as it is. Above is the sketch we have for our redraw melo. It is trying to be as close to the original melo proportion-wise as possible, while trying to fix some of the glaring errors on the original.
After that comes the lineart, then we start recoloring all the old colorations onto the new lineart. (: There are two ways we can go forward from here.
So, yeah. What do you want?
BTW, you can redline the sketch if you want.

We're going to be releasing a minipet feature very soon here. We have some minipets stockpiled, but if you feel the desire to submit your own to be used in the feature, feel free to submit them in this thread. Each one you submit will yield you a 2 GP reward.
