Halloween Features
New Feature
Great job on unlocking the Halloween features! While the Haunted House and the Battledome may be under some construction while we address the lag issue, here are some tidbits about the other new features.
Garden
In the Garden you'll find various witch brew plants growing. The garden tells you which ones are in the process of growing so you can know when to come back to the page and check later. You'll want to grab as many as you can (though there are limits on harvesting) as you'll be needing them in the Giant Cauldron.
Giant Cauldron
This is where customs are born! Hundreds of Halloween customs are lined up in the Giant Cauldron. You'll need to collect plants from the Garden to get the recipes, though, so you'll want to start harvesting. You'll always need a cauldron to do it - either a Special Cauldron (r100) or an Empty Cauldron (r5).
Empty and Special
Common pets require an Empty Cauldron and 3 plants as ingredients (in various amounts), uncommon pets require an Empty Cauldron and 4 plants as ingredients, hybrids require a Special Cauldron and 5 plants as ingredients, and rares require a Special Cauldron and 6 plants as ingredients.
Frankenstein's Lab
This is where you can create some really awesome looking site pets by combining items found in the Haunted House. Common pets require three items in various amounts, uncommons require four, hybrids require five, and rares require six.
You can see the recipes you can attempt by viewing the page, then you can select one you'd like to try.
Treasure Chests
Chests were a little derped with people opening them without keys. Soon as they're fixed and reset, you'll be able to obtain ONE key by finishing the Haunted House's quests and battling the monster boss at the end. Then, you get to try your luck on one of the chests... you could win big, or small... but you'll win something!

Lag Issue * UPDATE *
Site Update
Hey guys!
As most of you are aware of, the site lag has gotten pretty annoying =/ In order for me to help determine what's causing the lag, I will be disabling a few areas of the site. If you happen to access a page that says it's under maintenance, just check back in a minute or two.
*** UPDATE ***
We have started to disable multiple scripts on the site to see if we can pin point which ones are causing the lag on the site. The Adventure, Battle, Battledome, and Explore systems will be disabled temporary until we figure out which one of them is slowing the site. As we determine which are doing what, we will enable them one by one and hopefully rid ourselves of this lag problem =/
As well, we intend on disabling other scripts around the site to see how much much more the site improves with them down. Those scripts will be re-enabled soon after we have completed out tests.

Call for Artists!
Site Update
Hey everyone, I think you can pretty well guess what this newspost is for! That's right, another one of my 'we're looking for artists' posts. This one is a little different than normal, though, and for several reasons.
First off, we're looking for more than just LBC or BC artists for now (though we really do need these as well!). I'll get to that in a minute however.
I know that school is in full-swing for many users on Aywas, yet if you have the free time to dedicate to breeding, we're looking for people who can do LBC and BC breedings! LBC pays 5 GP per baby, and BC pays 10 GP per baby. The time constraints for LBC is 10 pairs in 10 days, and BC is 10 pairs in 14 days, making it about an average of 1 LBC pair per day, or 1 BC baby per day (if you schedule it out). Currently we do offer cash incentives for finishing work faster (while still keeping within the realm of quality) up to a certain dollar amount (discussed upon potential hire). As for contract LBC/BC artist, we currently have a waiting list for these so we aren't offering them at this moment, though if you are interested in earning cash as a dedicated contract artist you may include that in an application to be considered if feasible in the future.
It has always been a question as well if people may apply for half-lists, meaning half of the above work instead of a full list. After some consideration (and because of some people's time constraints again), we are also offering Half List positions for a limited time. For a Half List LBC breeder, you would take on 5 pairs every 7 days, and for a Half List BC breeder you would take on 5 pairs every 10 days. If this interests any applicant be sure to label your application as such when you apply, so I know that you are looking for the option for less work. For Half List breeders you are not eligible for cash incentives, keep this in mind!
Now, onto the other positions! We are not only looking for BC and LBC artists, but also MBC and RBC artists! We have a huge backlog of Metal breedings and Radioactive breedings so I made up applications for those as well. Each application has the terms for applying on them. MBC pays 5 GP per breeding with the same workload as LBC, and RBC pays 5 GP per mutant/10 GP per 'normal' baby, with a quota of 20 pairs per 10 days. A similar cash incentive is offered for these two positions (discussed upon potential hire).

October News and Updates
It's Aywas Second Birthday!!
We've been open for two years, woohoooo!
As always, we're going to be having a lot of Halloween celebrations! Keep collecting those orbs because there are a lot of really neat features for you to unlock!
Also, Adventure and Battledome are done, as soon as you unlock the Haunted House you'll be able to experience the terror in ADVENTURE! Not to mention you'll be able to mosey around the new Battledome... spectacular!
Yasu will have more on that for you later!
Cash Shop Pets
The following pets are available in the Cash Shop for October:
The new, adjusted prices are: 8 GP for a hybrid, 5 GP for an uncommon (of which there are none), and 3 GP for a common.
BP Shop Pets
The following pets are available in the BP Shop for October:
The new, adjusted prices are: 500,000 for a hybrid, 300,000 for an uncommon, and 150,000 for a common.
Monthly Items and Lunaris
October's birthstone is the Opal, which means that an Opal Lunaris has climbed from the depths to join those whose birthdays lay in October. :)
The Essence of October 2011 is the monthly potion, and is in the Cash Shop for 2 GP.
This month's premium item is Amorphous Talisman.
Breeding Season
October starts a new quarter, which means... breeding season!! For those of you who don't know, Breeding Season is the first week of January, April, June, and October, in which new hybrids are released and Breeding Coins are made available.
The new hybrids are the Inari (Oske x Phanto) and the Kodama (Kaba x Kernal). Both of these colorations are in the SP Shop.
Breeding Coins have hit the cash shop, and the Hybrid Genus Voucher has made a comeback with the new hybrid combinations.
The Breeding Talisman is in the Cash Shop for this week only, containing three Breeding Coins priced at 25% off their normal price (168 total).
Breeding Season ends October 9, 2011 at midnight.

Custom Talisman Madness
Custom item Talismans have hit the BP Shop and Cash Shop! What's a talisman? A talisman, if you haven't noticed, is an item that has many uses (charges) and most often gives out multiples of an item.
The coolest part is, the three items contained in these new Talismans are 25% off their shop price, so buying in bulk is best!

The crystal talismans are in the Cash Shop!
Talisman Madness ends October 9, 2011 at midnight.
Metal Custom Event
Looks like some people couldn't take a few and leave the rest for others... 1600 customs vanished in a few hours? Man, you guys...
