Site Update
This is a short update to let you all know that Lesser Breeding Pendants have been removed from the SP shop due to the overwhelming amount that are in circulation right now. We plan on adding more items to replace the LBP in the very near future and potentially circulate items every few months from the SP shop from now on.
I hope everyone understands the decision, especially since there is almost two times the amount of LBP breedings than LBC breedings in queue... that is really imbalanced. I'll put up a newspost when we decide what to cycle through the SP shop next.

Some items were added to the SP shop for now. We are also pondering an SP shop-exclusive species.

Kaze (#989)
Someone had already nominated Kaze and mentioned how great a person she is, but I wanted to add why I believe she deserves this spotlight. Kaze created the "Love Your Life; Live Your Dream!" thread in the Yay forums. This thread spreads optimism and hope through Kaze's and others' personal accounts of hardship, how they overcame obstacles, and how they see beauty in everyday life. Posts range from ecstatic speeches of how amazing life can be, to dealing with painful memories of the past, and even to the amazing beauty in a snowfall. Kaze personally spreads joy and support through her detailed and poetic messages of her personal experiences with beauty or to those in need, and she always lends an ear to those in need of advice or who have discovered amazing things in life as well.

Platinum Breeding Coin
Items
As originally promised, the Platinum Breeding Coin is now on sale.
It is 85 GP in the Cash Shop. It will be available for two weeks, once a year, always the two weeks before Christmas (so it will leave the shop on December 26th).
Recall that this coin will allow one of our SCC artists to design a custom drawn, SCC "Pet" offspring based off the parents of the breeding. Regardless of what you breed together you will still get a "Pet."
Addons cannot be used with this item. You will be given a list of available SCC artists and asked to select three. Your artist will be selected at random from the three you pick. Your artist will send you the PSD to your new silver custom. You can submit a new custom from the PSD with a Silver Custom Crystal to establish a new silver species.
In the next few days or a week, we will be adding some more items (both new and old) to the Cash Shop and BP Shop for the holiday season. :) They are pretty cool so look out for 'em.
The SCC artists are looking forward to doing your new Platinum breedings... enjoy!

This user figured out a glitch that's been puzzling me, Eri, and Yasu for the last two months... WHY ON EARTH ARE THE MONSTERS IN ADVENTURE SO STRONG? Malicus figured out that equipment attached to your pet is affecting the monsters too...and now this monster issue we've been tearing our hair out about can now be fixed and we can stop obsessing over why the monsters were so strong despite being low level :)

Famine's Feast!
Site Update
"Had you assumed I would neglect the world that so wisely chose me as its ruler? My friends and I have returned to partake in what you might call holiday festivities. After all, an apocalypse is a special occasion.
I have set up shop in Ay and am asking for your Floating Orbs. After all, I have quite the taste for souls.
In my shop you will find pet replicas of myself and my three henchmen as well as some weapons that might come in handy, and even a few trinkets to show your unwavering support for us.
Famine's Feast will be stocking these items and asking for Orbs until I've had my fill, but I must warn you that it might be a while. I'm a little famished, if you haven't noticed."
Orb Trophies have also gone out!
Everyone who participated in the orb event received some kind of trophy. :3
The special apocalypse unuses are unbreedable, but they'll look cool in your pet collection!

Chromo Stampede!

It's Saturday again, you know what that means?
That's right! We've got another batch of new explore pets!
Exciting, right? Right!
What... what is this?! It seems we've had a Chromo outbreak!
If you designed one of the above. please contact us for your copy of the pet.
Next week's bonus explore pets are the Gael, Insi, and Melo!
If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!
If you want to design some, go and post them in their respectful threads here!

Clothing of the World
Items
A new shop has opened--Clothing of the World.
Shoe is the one running it! Click on his picture to go to the shop.
Since we got our HA bases I have wanted to have a shop dedicated to clothing from around the world, since I find other cultures' clothing so interesting. These are the first offerings I have:
Serbian
Scottish
Puerto Rican
Middle Eastern and Brazilian (respectively)
Korean
Javanese
Indian
Bulgarian
If you know the proper name for any of these items, let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions for clothes to add to this shop, post a link to a reference image, the culture, what the piece is called, etc :)
Especially if you know a holiday is coming up!! If there's some special clothing worn on a holiday, give me some reference pictures and a month's time heads up and I'll get 'em into the shop in time for the holiday.

Kat HRB Santarina (#80)
Kat, whether or not she likes to admit it, is a generous, loving user. She will go out of her way and budget to enter her friends into user ran contests that they otherwise may not be able to participate in. She buys them arts of their pets when she can, and rarely puts herself before these friends. Kat definitely deserves something special for herself.

Siilk (#25326)
Siilk is a very helpful and kind individual. She helped me out with many things, such as answering my questions or helping me collect pets I wanted when I joined in october. I didn't know how anything worked, and she has helped me since then. She's still helping me with things I don't understand to be honest. xD She also contributes to one of the site's many groups that are making an effort to improve the pets in the adoption center (Bug Zappers specifically). The group adopts unpopular pets from the adoption center and zaps them/potions them until they are an AD pet. They release them back in afterwards. She is also a consistent member in the ACC group. During the halloween event, Siilk even gave up a custom pet from the cauldron she loved, to the artist who created it in return for another custom. She is all about helping others and making others happy. She also encouraged me to make my own shop, which I now have up and running. It's not anything fancy by any means but it gets business. xD All in all, Siilk is a very helpful kind individual and I sincerely believe she deserves something for being the sweetheart she is. <3

About the Platinum Breeding Coin...
This coin is handled by the SCC artists. When you submit a breeding with it you will be asked to select three SCC artists out of a list of ones available. Your baby's artist will be one of the three you select.
They will be sold for two weeks only sometime in December, and only once a year. We will raffle off a coin every month though there's no promise on what the currency will be!
