Alexina (#352)
Alexina has gone way out of her way to make sure everyone onsite has a wonderful Christmas. She has spent more than 300 GP on customs, and gifted much more. On the thread for "Give a Gift to the User Above You" I only asked for some cheap things (Magic mushrooms, scratchcards, etc.) and I was beyond wordless when I saw the notification for 1 million BP (being newer, I have never had this much BP). I sent her a message because I was pretty sure she had typed in the wrong ID or something. But no, she did mean to give it to me. I think that Alexa should get a lot of BP to buy more things to make people Christmas wishes come true <3

New Holiday Lane Pets & Updates
Site Update
Famine's Feast, the mystery Orb shop, is just about ready to go, the only thing we're waiting on right now is for Yasu to run a script I need completed before stocking it!
He's remedying some computer troubles, so hopefully his machine decides to behave. XD
Your usual Wednesday updates (trivia and raffle crystals) should show up tomorrow, as will the free custom results! (More SQL functions that I can't do.)
Plush Sets
Plushies from sets 1-10 will be all mine after tonight, mwuahaha!
The current plushies and their collections are technically retiring after midnight!
(I probably won't get to them right away, but they can leave at any time after midnight.)
Conservation Week
Don't forget that you have approximately 24 hours left to get your donations in for the endangered pets!
I will be sending out all the pets and items out at once after the event comes to a close, so don't fret if you haven't received yours yet!
If you have a question about qualifying, are having late paycheck issues, etc., as long as you contact me before the end of the event, you're fine. I haven't been able to reply to everyone yet, so I'm of course not going to count that against you. Just come talk to me!

Chianya (#12264)
Chi is the nicest person I have ever known, I know that all the people who have gone through her Newbie adoption center can agree with me. She helped me (and many others!) to start off my game on Aywas in the best way possible, she introduced me to all of the features and even gave me the pets and items that were needed so I can learn how to use everything till I was able to play completely on my own. The start on an unknown game can be pretty tough, I don't know if I`d be here without her. Now that I`m not a newbie anymore, she has become a great friend of mine - she`s someone who finds time to cheer you up and talk to you even when you`re no longer a part of her newbies. She is the nicest and most willing-to-help-out-wherever-she-can person I know! She is amazing, that`s why I believe she deserves to be featured!

They contribute to the community of aywas and the emphasis of that cooperative, friendly feeling to the game instead of just everyone getting rich and grabbing what you can: Earlier this year, I was bidding on an auction and I had gotten in the habit of copying the last couple digits of my total bp in order to have my bid be a random number. Well I was playing very early in the morning, I was quite tired, and something went wrong, I must have copied the entire amount. It was several million bp that I bid; the entirety of my liquid assets I'd accumulated since joining in January. I sent a polite message to Clo3 just explaining what had happened, the amount I had meant to bid, and I asked if it was possible for her to send me any part of the money back. I knew I had no right to the money since I had placed the bid and it was entirely up to her, and I told her so before sending the message, leaving nothing to do but wait anxiously for a reply. She sent me all the extra pb (my previous total minus the price that I had actually meant to bid) with a cheery, kind message and I was just shocked. I was even more shocked to find out she was pretty new herself and far from rich on the game. Some people would have seen it as their right to keep the money- and they would be correct! However, Clo3 cared about more than her rights and getting rich and I think she deserves mention for exemplifying the kind community spirit aywas is known for having. She is definitely my hero!

Ara
New Feature
Ara Release
After some deliberation, we have been considering having Scavenger Hunt be only in July, with 10-man teams and 150 tasks. In addition, we have been considering releasing the first Ara region in January, and release a new region in Ara every month after.
What do you think? Should we postpone Scav and start releasing Ara starting NEW YEARS???
Ara has nine regions, and if you do want Ara to start being released starting New Years, how about picking which region you want to see released first?
But no hints...you only get the codename!!!

If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!
