Oh no! It seems like this little guy was having a good ol' time playing around in everyone's candy bags. The Candy Corn Yisyii has finally made its way to the Spooky Forest, though it should be easy to find since it seems to be in a sugar coma.
The Seasonal Shop is now open! You can use both Candy and Bootato to purchase various pets and items. As a reminder, all of the Ghoulish Gala activities will end in a little over a week, after 11:59 PM AST on October 31st! This includes Frankenstein's Lab, so please make sure to take into account that it takes time to 'reanimate' pets there if you haven't finished creating the pets that you would like to.
The next genus to receive a new line set for the Halloween Concoction #13 is the Odlak! Spooky was favored over cutesy for this one, and we look forward to sharing it with you all!
Have you all been safe while checking out the Spoopy Mansion? It might be a good idea to stick together, since it seems like something may be happening there soon...

Exotic Pet Palace & Monthly Customs

"Hello everyone! I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up that I'll be changing the stock in my shop come October 29th! So if you want to own any of these pretty pets I currently am selling in the Exotic Pet Palace, you should buy them before October 29th. On October 29th, they will be permanently retired and new pets will take their place."
It's also time to give away four free customs designed during September under the theme of Moths and Butterflies!
To play, you simply choose your favorite from the poll below! This will enter you into a raffle for that particular design. You only get one vote, so choose wisely! If you created one of the pets below, please contact Lacia (#25044) with which prizes you are claiming.

"Hey! Hey you! Yes, you!" Querel exclaimed as you walked past. Despite having the usual grin on his face, there seemed to be a sense of urgency in his voice. "You're always going around and exploring and whatnot, right? Well, I need you to let me know if you see these two," he continued on before handing you two pieces of paper.
"I know, I know, you're probably thinking, 'Oh, but what did Greta and Aketch do?' Well, they ran off with something of mine, and it'll be bad for all of you if I don't get it back, understand?" Before you could ask any questions, Querel promptly continued speaking. "Now, I expected this from Greta, but Aketch... He's been acting strange ever since his 'makeover' or whatever you would call that." After giving an exaggerated shrug accompanied by a sigh, Querel began to walk away.
"Oh, but before I forget! I heard that they may have been spotted around a mansion, but if you happen to go exploring any, be careful. You wouldn't want anything to, uh, bite you."
Somehow this quest Querel has given you seems a little suspicious, but maybe you'd be able to find out what was stolen and return it for a nice reward. Wait, he didn't even say anything about a reward - he better not expect you to help for free!

Pets, The Cauldron, and... Aymas!

The final batch of Ghoulish Gala pets have made their way into the Spooky Forest! Please make sure to capture any pets or gather any items you may want before the end of the month.
The Cauldron seems to be gathering some magical energy... Starting tomorrow, you will be able to have an opportunity to claim your very own custom pet from it! You will only be able to claim one pet, and it is first come, first serve. You will need herbs from The Greenhouse, but you won't know which ones the recipe calls for until the countdown on your side bar reaches zero! Every herb will be used at least once overall, so be sure to have a variety handy!
Though it may still be a little on the warmer side of things outside, winter will be here before you know it! The Aymas submission threads are now open! These threads will be open until 11:59 PM on November 27th, so be sure to plan accordingly if you wish to participate!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and so until 11:59pm on October 31st this snazzy pink denim jacket will in stocking in Trash for Treasure.
Whether you're repping the cause or just a fan of the colour, don't miss out on this cute item for your wardrobe.

Slashbot: Stuffing Changes and Xentori Flutes

Good evening meatlings. I'm back again, did you miss me? I have recently discovered something commonly referred to as 'mustard'. I am intrigued by the yellow hue... But I will not trouble you with that.
It comes with great pleasure that I am able to announce some changes to how Slashbot functions, so please read carefully!
As of October 10 11:59pm the number of Slashbot Stuffings required for uses is changing. They are detailed below, as well as written in the Slashbot article which can be read here.
1 Slashbot Slot - Staff approved news post for a user run event
2 Slashbot Slots - Add a new genus, add a new alt line, single day events without an adventure zone, have a side banner leading to an onsite link
3 Slashbot Slots - Add a new pet with 5 site colorations, add a new hybrid, small event with a custom adventure zone
4 Slashbot Slots - New genus with alt lines and 5 site colorations, or a medium event with a custom adventure zone
5 Slashbot Slots - Large event with a custom adventure zone
These changes are not retroactive, so make sure to send your PMs to #3 before this deadline!
Additionally, you are now able to trade in for Xentori Flutes at any time. The Metal Xentori Flute is used to create a metal custom on any of the "metal" bases. The Blue Xentori Flute is used to create a 50% edited Xentori!
You can trade in one Slashbot Stuffing for a Metal Xentori Flute, or three Stuffings for a Blue Xentori Flute.
The PSD can be accessed by clicking this link, or it is linked down the bottom of the Slashbot Knowledge Base article.
Please PM #3 if you would like to trade in some of your Stuffings!

The Spooky Forest is now open for your exploration pleasure! There are a handful of new pets for you to collect, and there will be more added during the next two weekends as well! In the Spooky Forest, you will be able to find Bootato, which are the seasonal currency alongside your Candy. You'll also want to make sure to pick up a few items here and there, since...
... Frankenstein's Lab is now up and running! There are recipes to make five pets, but what you will need will vary from pet to pet. You will have the entire rest of the month to gather what you need, so don't stress if you can't find everything right away!
Have you found yourself collecting too many herbs? Well, you're in luck! Rowan's Potion Brewing is now open so that you may create various potions. One will even grant you two of the harder to obtain herbs from the Greenhouse, which may be beneficial to those who can't seem to shake Minerva off their trail.
The winner of the Halloween Concoction poll is Ay Hybrid M - Z! Thank you to everyone voted, and we hope that you all are looking forward to seeing the new alternate line art that will be added even if it wasn't your first choice!
Don't forget to check out the news post below if your Rowan's Coupon did not seem to regenerate after you used it! The item should now be regenerating properly at three days.

Rowan's Coupon Error

It appears that Minerva did not want to let any of the Rowan's Coupons go! If you have used your Rowan's Coupon, please PM Lacia (#25044) with the subject "Rowan's Coupon" and the following information:
How you acquired the item. We will need to know if you received it as an award in the Snapdragon Ceremony or if you purchased the item from another user. If you purchased it from another user, please state who it was and what method you used (i.e. User Shops, Trading Post, etc.).As of this moment, any Rowan's Coupon used will have a regeneration time, but it will be one day instead of three as a temporary fix. We will be working on getting the correct regeneration time applied to the item soon and will be ensuring that everyone affected receives their item back. We apologize for any inconvenience!

We like pets, I'm fairly sure you like pets too, so let's get some new pets!
Several super lovely denizens of the Aywas Affiliated discord have banded together for a lively day of pet sales in the auction house. Anyone is free to participate, discord member or not!
Pet Auctions can be found here!
A wide variety of freshly created pets will all be entering the auction house all due to END on the same day on October 25. These are being created by a wide range of artists, both edited pets & metal pets, anything is fair game. The artists are picking their own end times for the auction day, and their preferred currency type (GP or BP) and minimum increment, so this can vary.
This thread is a den of positive vibes for sharing work and chatter related to the auction day, which can be found here!

It's usually not recommended to feed coyotes, but when you take one of these home I'd recommend you do! It might not dance on a bar, or enjoy beer and peanuts, but it could be the perfect guard for you while trick or treating. No one's going to come for your candy with one of these by your side!
This lovely HA companion will be in stock in the Trash for Treasure shop until 11:59pm on November 2nd - so make sure you get one!
